2025.02.02 00:22 LogicalBridge5607 Broke PSP Backlight Ribbon Clip
Well, I screwed up! I tried to replace the PSP screen (first time ever!) and it was going smoothly until I accidentally pushed the backlight clip the wrong way and broke it completely. RIP.
I ordered a new connector port and a soldering iron of Ali Express... And I want to fix it.
Do I have any clue what I'm doing? NO. Never done anything like this before. But I'm ready to learn, even if I mess it up worse, because how else am I gonna learn.
I tried to find a tutorial specifically for the backlight connector port and couldn't find anything.
So a broad question but I'm wondering if anyone can give me some tips, and how did you first learn to solder? Idk anyone who can teach me but I'm eager to learn.

I just vaguely remember this trailer at one of the old E3's or game awards but I don't remember the game ever coming out, the trailer had a 3rd person camera and featured a woman who was missing her left hand running through a destroyed city, she had some kinda gadget on her arm and was vaulting over stuff running from something.
Any ideas?

2025.02.02 00:22 GalacticNexus Talisman of the Sphere is semi-useless RAW
Sphere of Annihilation got some changes in 2024, but it seems like the Talisman hasn't quite been updated in a way that makes sense with them; at least as far as I can understand it. In 2014, the Arcana check to gain control of a Sphere of Annihilation would give that character indefinite control of the sphere, until someone else succeeded on a check to usurp control of it. In 2024, that check gives the character control, quote, "until the start of your next turn". That's all well and good, but here is the text for the second feature of the Talisman of the Sphere:
In addition, when you start your turn in control of a Sphere of Annihilation, you can take a Magic action to move it 10 feet plus a number of additional feet equal to 10 times your Intelligence modifier.RAW, there is literally no way to start your turn in control of a SoA, because the control ends at the start of your next turn.
What's the best fix here? Change control of a SoA to end at the end of your next turn? I'm running Tomb of Annihilation so this will (eventually) be very relevant.

Probably its a dumb question but is there any benefit of being 1st in the heroic race if you're gonna reach lap 15 or more? since this was my 1st race i got paired up with bot and/or inactive player except 1, but even if I was in one with active players would there be any difference in rewards after reaching lap 15? I have tons of glossy ropes, but last month I bought matte finish ropes from NeverTooLate, and I can say for sure that matte ropes don’t tangle as easily—these are my go-to ropes at the moment.

There was an accident that took place on Smithe, between Burrard and Hornby, involving one of those Cloud E-Bike couriers and my partner on a E-scooter. Between 2pm-2:30pm. Thank goodness she was wearing her helmet and by standers that can help collaborate. Is there any way to track that person down? They just rode off on their e-bike, probably in panic, not even apologizing. I believe there were damages to their bike and left bleeding since they weren't wearing and protective gear.
Is there anything else I can do?
