Hi, I'm doing my IB math IA on Valorant and wanted to find a mathematical way of evaluating the agents (to find the "best" overall.) I wanted to take into account not just KDA and win streak, but also use of util, because that's what Separates Valorant from other fps games like CS-GO. I created a metric that takes these variables into account, but I realized that collecting the data would be difficult. External sites, like tracker.gg have KDA and wins/loss data, but not data on util. So that's where this subreddit comes in! I'm looking for data of four main categories within util:
- true/false boolean type util (ex: Sova dart, it either gets information that enemies are there or doesn't). This would also include stunning/dazing util. The equation for this would be successful activations divided by total activations.
- utility damage (exs: molly, raze nade, kj turret, etc.) The equation for this would be utility assisted kills divided by total rounds played.
- area control (exs: smokes, sage wall or other walls, kj ult) The equation for this is the total seconds of area denial divided by total time of round.
- healing util (total HP healed divided by total rounds played)
In addition to this, I would need the usual data for kills, deaths, and assists. The following is the metric that I’ve created:
AOS=(0.54)(Win Rate)+(0.23)(Kill Death Ratio)+(0.08)(Assists)+(0.14)(Utility Usage), where AOS= agent overall score.
So, for each unrated or competitive game, record the utility usage per round (including the specifics above) and include your KDA for the game. Also, include the agent that you played, and your overall win rate for that character.

I’m trying to finish this within the next month or so, so if you would like to help collect data then do so sooner rather than later. That way, your data can be included in my report. I have no proofs, i just hate it with all my life, ib hasn’t taught me anything else that my school couldn’t on itself. Idk if this happens to other people but everyone on my school agrees that they only memorize things, every time after an exam we forget everything, another complaint i have is that i don’t even care a bit about most of the subjects, the only thing i want from ib is business and passing math would be a blessing, this is specifically on my school, they made us choose between physics-biology and philosophy-business and i think that the amount of useless subjects they are putting on us is incredible, as i said, i only care about business and it is SL, however, we have fucking biology HIGH LEVEL as if it was going to be of any use on the majority of us, my point is that each one of us is seeing a subject that is going to be useless in our life’s, how could biology be of any use to someone who wants to study business administration, how could philosophy be of any use to someone who wants to study medicine, isn’t ib made to prepare us for real life? I dont think that i could save a person from dying using fucking french. If you read everything, thank u, as i said, this is my opinion, it might be wrong but i just wanted to let off steam because i feel like im wasting my money and mental health in a program whose teaching s will be mostly useless in my life. ❤️🔥

I have surely realized that SSRIs, personally for me, are NOT it. I'm very high strung naturally. I am working with my psychiatrist and PCP to start a new med. I'm super sensitive to meds so it's been a 2 month journey with weekly appts, a genesight test etc for them to even want to introduce a new med.
My genesight test came back great for anti-psychotics and mood stabilizers and my Dr's seem to be at a toss up of which to try. I've had anxiety for 6 years, panic disorder for the last 3 or 4 years. I had agoraphobia and still kind of struggle with it.
Any suggestions for what worked for you guys? I know no two people are the same, just hoping for some input 🙂

2025.02.02 02:41 Immediate_Pack_5094 Need Encouragement - On Week 1 and Really Struggling
Basically the title - I just got my first tray and attachments 5 days ago and I honestly am falling apart trying to keep going. I have a lot of crowding and I know this will be life changing for me but it’s a love of movement.
Everyone says it gets better and I’m usually pretty resilient but all the below are happening and I would love any tips!
- Starving - I have a really sensitive stomach (IBS) so huge meals don’t really work for me and the 20-22 hour requirement are leading to me just starving and my stomach acid is out of control. I am considering drinking smoothies with lots of protein with my trays in or something but everything I see says not to. Any suggestions?
- Major speech issues - my teeth can’t completely close with my trays in so my face looks super weird when I try to close my mouth and it also means I cant say Sh or J sounds without sounding ridiculous. I also have a terrible lisp with my trays in. My job is very dependent on my ability to speak eloquently and this is already affecting that quite a lot in this first week. Would love ANY tips you all have for this!
- Painful cuts everywhere - the trays and my attachments are ripping apart the inside of my mouth, which is making me miserable. Eating is horribly painful and all the other hours with my trays in are also super uncomfortable. I feel like there’s no time for the cuts to heal because of either the trays or the attachments.
- I travel for work very regularly and I feel like I can barely handle this while at home. Would love any tips for how to manage while traveling

Everybody has heard somebody, a millennial or older, say today's music is bad. There are aspects that are, I won't deny. But it's more the music that is being popularized then the music itself. The thing bigger artists then before, limiting the amount of songs to really choose from. People are choosing chart topping songs only, because that is what streaming services reccomend an play for you. Plus, with all songs being bundled, people have no reasons to go with the cheaper, smaller artist. This lack or spread also makes it so one big genre only is what comes out on top. Just a conglomerate of what is popular. This theme also makes everything, the biggest point, unoriginal. There is still good music out there, but it is being overshadowed by what streaming services reccomend. There is nothing that makes even the popular songs are bad in any way. It is just that they rarely stand out, witch is what made old songs great aspecially to ilder generations, their difference. That isn't today's focus anyways.

Hey all!
So I had a baby two weeks ago and am doing a looot of laying around while I recover (and snuggle the new human). I lurk this forum and decided to give the My Happy Marriage anime a try; I loved it!! Now I’m craving to dive back into this genre.
I’m 30, and haven’t really kept up with current shoujo in a long time. So, I’d love to know what to watch to call myself a proper fan in 2025: what have been the popular or culturally relevant shows over the last seven years or so? I watched A Sign of Affection so I’m at least aware of that one!

I'm looking for recommendations for a new backpack to take to work on the daily, with a goal of spending under $250 CAD. Currently I have a Swiss gear backpack that has lasted me 6 years of school and work, but it is beginning to show its age. The strap is starting to tear and the main zipper has begun to split, and i want to save the bag as a backup before it becomes unusable.
For some background I am working in the construction industry and the current bag has to ride in the bed of a truck when on site, so it is exposed to rain or snow for some time, along with being rolled around. It also sits on the ground under my desk at our site office and gets dusty or muddy, especially now in the winter.
Requirements for the new bag, in order of priority:
- Laptop Protection - The bag needs to have a padded laptop sleeve for a 17" laptop. With the bag being exposed to potential bumps nearly daily my laptop needs to be protected.
- Build quality - The bag needs to be able to hold up to getting scuffed or dirty without totally falling apart within a few years.
- Space - The bag needs a main compartment that is fairly roomy to accommodate my lunch bag and other gear. I carry a charger, notebook, toque and a small kit with a flashlight, tape measure, multibit screwdriver, multitool, sharpie, pen and grease marker along with some office supplies.
- water proof/resistant bottom - the floor at my desk is often wet as I am in and out throughout the day and in the winter I am brining snow in on my boots and my bag has gotten wet a few times.
- Looks - Because this is a work bag and it does come with me when i go to our main office occasionally I would like to avoid having a tactical/military looking bag. Black or grey is preferred, no flashy colours when in the main office.
- Organization pockets - I sometimes need to travel to other locations on or off site to do work and bring some basic office supplies with me. Having these organized in a compartment would be nice to have.
- Grab handle - My current bag can get fairly heavy and the big sturdy grab handle is nice.
- Water bottle holder - I always have a 1L Nalgene bottle on me and would like to be able to store it on the outside of the bag instead of having to dig into the bag and my lunchbox when looking for it.
