my cat stepped in hot wing sauce someone was eating and has a little dot on her paw. ive been frantically trying to clean it but theres a little residue left and shes pissed at me. ive taken her to the hospital for this before and they said a small amount probably wont do a lot but im really worried. and i dont want her paw to be irritated or for her to lick it off, but she’s incredibly angry at me right now for trying to clean it. would this be toxic to her? should i take a break and try to clean it again or would it be too risky? i dont wanna overstress her but i also dont want her to lick it and im scared. sorry if this is kind of stupid i just get very worried about her. any advice is appreciated thank you

So the title is the truth - when I booked my first role in a major show, I wanted to look as slim as possible/not have any kind of double chin, so I typed that into Google and Keto popped up. I did that plus 10,000 steps/day for approx two months leading up to the shoot. By the time the show shot, I was so burnt out from the restrictions, I was ready for it to be over.
I didn't realize until later what a number it did on my mental health. I took a break, and in that break, binged. Which I later learned is very normal when you restrict so hard. In my mind, Keto is the best way to eat (not nutritionally, but to be slim for cam). So I kept toggling between restricting and binging. Doing Keto again now before a gig, or trying to the best of my ability...
I don't know. I'm basically just wondering if anyone else goes through these crazy mental food/eating things before a gig? I feel like it takes up so much of my mental energy when I could be focusing on prep that actually matters. But I also know if I didn't care completely, I would not like how I looked on camera.
Perhaps it's the fact that with film/tv - the way you look on that day is how it is going to look on film forever. My friend who knows about this says they're scared for when I book a regular role - am I just going to be Keto always? And I'm like, uh yeah, idk. I was bulking/working out at one point, and had to eat so much, it was weird - but looked so good. Getting compliments from people I barely know...so idk, maybe the key is to just work out more and focus on nutrition/overall health instead of "being skinny" - it's just so engrained in me to be skinny for camera because it adds 10 pounds. But then I see people eating normally, and I'm like, what is happening!? It feels like I'm the only one going through this. But I know I'm not.
No one EVER seems to talk about this in acting classes, no teachers, etc. I know we as actors have this pressure, especially when on camera. So I ask you, what is your relationship with food, eating, eating disorders in relation to preparing for an on-camera role, or simply as an auditioning actor, anticipating booking?

I used to have a Zyn in basically all day at work. One would run out, and I would immediately pop a new one in. Stress and a need to focus had me constantly wanting more nicotine.
I’ve actually found that since quitting, I focus better at work. There’s one less (major) thing taking up space in my mind, and I don’t need breaks as often.
I’ve been up late tonight working on a project. 2 years ago I would have gone through over a can of Zyn while working on this. I just realized that I did not think about nicotine a single time while working today.
It may not seem like it while you are in the thick of quitting, but it does get better.

I had some $500 rims on Facebook Marketplace earlier today. I told the guy he could pay through Zelle since it was more convenient and I always use Zelle for all kinds of stuff including buying and selling.
He sent me the money on Zelle I watched him do it through the Chase app he scanned my QR code so I know there was no mixup, my name came up alongside my email and everything, and he put in the verification code to authorize it and it still put a hold on it? It didn’t even alert me that he sent the payment it just put a hold on it and that was it.
Guy was really nice and he gave his address and cell, I also took a pic of his plate just in case (he was aware and cool with it) so I don’t think he is a thief and if he is it was a very elaborate scam.
I am just wondering what I can expect and if this is common from Chase?

I managed to convert it to vmd but the rigging when imported is extremely off, the facial animations don't work, and the clothes also need work.
