2025.01.22 06:45 Wild-Management8202 Is Summoners War too much Grind?
Maybe its just me and Summoners War is not the right Game for me. But the insane grind you have to do kills the game for me.
I played the Game quite active for about 3 yrs. I have all the content and spd teams done. Solid runes but nothing special. After a while its all about PVP. And thats the best part of the game.
For me and i guess for a big part if the community, the rune quality is like a pyramid. Since the grind for good runes is just insane, the amount of good runes is very limited. Therefore i basically have to play the same units, over and over again, or just play with way worse runes. I end up.playing the same, versitile units like chandra, sagar all the time. Because the super fun niche units are simply not runed. Its so hard to get runes deph that allows to play those units really efficient.
Same for the "e sports" part of summoners war. Its not just about the craty ld5. Pinkroid and others show quite often that you really can ourdraw your opponent with elemental nat5. But you have to be good. But tje competitive part of SW is basically the same 12 dudes fight for "glory" every season. Its so boring. The are no interesting newcomers that change the meta or disrupt the order like in other e sport. Because you cant. First you need the runes, than you need the monster and at the very end, you need the skill.
The game would be so much more fun for me. If you can get g3 runes (a full set) in like 3-6 moths of grinding.
- PVP would be about Skill, not rune quality
- I could play way more fun units
- Way better for new Players to join the game
