Hey All!
I've been out of the home audio scene for a while because my life got a bit crazy. Stuff is back to normal, so I'm starting to go back to the things that I used to enjoy.
Anyways, my current setup is from roughly 2018. Certainly not outdated, but it could be better.
I'm currently using an SMSL-SA50 as my amp with Micca MB-42x's and they're paired to a massively overkill Bic-F12 connected to my PC's sound card.
I think the SA50 is on its way out, so what would some current good options be with an active SW-Out? Having speaker wire traced from the amp, to the sub, and back to the speakers is kinda hard to make pretty.
Some of the Fosi Audio stuff looks appealing, and has the output that I'm looking for. Are they good? I was looking at their BT-30 series.

I started off with submitting DS - 160 in May last year. My initial VAC and Interview dates were in Hyderabad for Oct 2025.
I kept checking earlier dates and rescheduled the first time to April 2025. I kept checking for earlier dates and was lucky at getting slots in Mumbai itself for Jan 2025 since I am from Mumbai.
My VAC happened last week on 15th Jan while the interview was on 16th Jan. Visa was issued on 17th Jan. I received my passport today.
VAC took about 10 minutes. All they ask for is your DS 160 confirmation page. Photo is also taken at the VAC at no extra cost. In Mumbai there is storage available for your electronics. I didn’t use it however so not sure what the cost is.
Interview only took about a minute and the only question I was asked was my purpose of travel. I believe since I work for an American company who was sponsoring my visa they didn’t ask a whole bunch of questions. Although I saw people spending 10-15 minutes for the interview. Of course not everyone, but some.
I would just say that I was extremely lucky to have a seem less experience as I know a lot of people travel to various cities, wait for months before they get their slots. So a lot of it is to do with luck. But you will get there. All the Best!!!

I used to camp camp back in the og MW2 days being in one room w/ a claymore at each of the two entrances (w/ scavenger) and I would be aiming out a couple windows and stay there the whole game. Would definitely consider that camping. Nowadays I’ll just patrol back and fourth with no claymores (or whatever the equivalent would be for BO6), going up and down pretty large lanes, and still get occasionally called a camper by PO’d players in the lobby. Would yall consider that camping as well? I personally don’t think it is.

Y'all are stupid, music nowadays is super fucken accessible, without modern technology discovering new artists would be difficult as hell. And also, buying physical albums without knowing the contents is a gamble. I'd consider myself a vinyl enjoyer, but I ONLY buy records that I've listened to and enjoyed, I can't imagine dropping actual physical cash on an album just for it to be dogshit. Granted Spotify (and other various music platforms) have changed a lot of the music landscape for the worse, but in terms of ease of listening and accessibility of discovery, we're in a golden age for music listeners. Plus it's not like good music doesn't exist anymore, just look outside of the billboard hot 100 or whatever and discover some smaller, hell even some larger artists that fit your music taste. Artists like King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and an infinite number of others are making music that sounds like the stuff people say don't exist anymore. Also, it's not like physical media is gone, hell, vinyl is making a HUGE comeback, the last time I was at my local record store it was crowded.
TL:DR Music doesn't suck nowadays, y'all just suck at finding good music, and the old way of discovering music was worse than it is nowadays.
