Just theorizing here:
Say I place an order for a handcrafted USA ultralight pack this week, January of 2025. It gets shipped to Canada in June, but wait, there is a lame trade war in the meantime and suddenly it has a 25% export Tariff and 25% Import Tariff slapped upon it. Product is now 50% more expensive to import to Canada on top of the 40% exchange rate hit. Price has effectively doubled.
Would the order having been placed months beforehand avoid this situation, or are a lot of people going to be getting a really painful and unexpected import bill on some already expensive gear in the coming months?

The real problem with you stunads is you never see the big picture.
Jon Fav-reau approached Amy about getting Christopher to be in his remake of Goodfellas. He wants Chrissy to play Jimmy "Two Times." She is immediately pissed off that Jon's A) going to cast "that fucking asshole!" in the movie, and B) he's not going to cast Jeannie Garafolo as Tommy. She walks away from him, yelling, "You never take my advice!!! I'm a Vice-President!!!"
Favreau freaks out after losing his one connection to Christopher. He knows this is his last chance to make a movie without any pussy-assness to it and sets out to contact Chris on his own. He makes some calls and in trying to contact Alfalfa, he finds out that Chrissy has passed away in a car accident and also finds out that Chris once hit Vito with a sandwich in a fit of rage. Favreau is angry that Tony never made that right between them, and snaps. He decides that since he can't remake Goodfellas without Chrissy, he's going to whack Tony to prove he's no pussy ass.
Through the grapevine he hears that the family is having dinner where the "best onion rings in the state" are made, and hides in the Holsten's bathroom until he knows the Soprano family are there together. The guy in the Members Only jacket is Jimmy Smash 's nephew Johnny Smash (Favreau recruited him for help with the hit as he heard that Tony had spent his whole childhood ridiculing Jimmy). Mr. Smash walks into the bathroom to tell Jon that 3/4 of the family is sitting down, waiting for that "malignant cunt" Meadow to show up. Favreau says, "Fuck it. Let's do it before the crank wears off" and runs out blasting with Mr. Smash in tow.

2025.01.22 07:41 Mr_Rafi The Resurgence Rotations playlist still doesn't work here in Australia/Oceania after all this time.
PS5 here. My friends and I are Rebirth Island players. If there are 2 or 3 of us online, we'd logically play duos/trios in the Resurgence Rotations playlist because it's the only way. The Rebirth Island queue for Rebirth/Area 99 duos, trios, or quads does NOT work. It just gets stuck on "searching for a match <14 ping". It doesn't even expand into a wider search as it usually does.We have to play Rebirth Quads. If there's only 2 of us online, we can't play duos. We've tried rotating hosts with no success.
What's happening. The only way to play properly is that 4 of us are online playing Quads. How can one playlist as a whole not work for an entire region.

2025.01.22 07:41 Far-Command-9982 Is it wrong of me to take a cat in thats been left out in the cold (20 degrees and below) overnight (to my knowledge) even if I am unsure if the cat has an owner ?
In September a cat appeared outside during the day but was gone at night so I assumed someone just left their cat outside during the day. Unfortunately, when I returned from winter break this month he's been outside past the time I would typically see him, and tonight the temperature dropped to 18 degrees and he was curled up on a cat bed. People have been feeding him and giving him water but since it was so cold his water froze. I tried to get him inside with treats but he gets frightened easily and I was afraid of picking him up so I eventually gave up. Would it be wrong of me to take him in since I am unsure if he actually has an owner? What is the most untraumatic way to get him inside?
I would've taken him inside sooner but I don't want to steal someone's pet and I also have a cat and I don't want to expose him to another cat that I'm unsure if it's been vaccinated or not

Hello, I am currently looking for an alternative to my Windows 11. I only use my computer to play (only on Steam) and do web browsing. I have already used Ubuntu since version 12 but I am not completely convinced because of the choices that were made: Snap, and the choice of Amazon, I used Debian and Kali (except video games) for my studies and I like these distros, I recently wanted to change my Windows 11 for Garuda but I found this distro buggy and unstable. Mint was also really good but I had to tune a lot of things to be able to play. I recently changed my setup to a 1920p laptop setup with two monitors, an AMD Ryzen 7 processor and a 4060 GPU. What OS do you recommend? Although I am not convinced by Proton, I would still like to use it but with a minimum of tinkering. However⊠does anyone else despite wanting to love it, feel a little hurt? Like youâre the one sheâs singing about in the song?
For context I was in a horrible situationship Casual friendship that eventually exploded since it was too much toxicity and emotional abuse. And since then, itâs clear he moved practically instantly, is the one who still gets to smile so blindingly, and by the end of the day is the one whoâs left standing. Guess thatâs what happens with absers.
Itâs hard being the one who had to bear all the emotional brunt of it â spiralling into depression, going crazy, actually dyeing your hair because looking at your previous self in selfies is a little too hard.
So while songs like Coffee, Casual, and Picture You get my spirits up, itâs weird an upbeat number thatâs supposed to be an anthem for rising above your exes like MKIK ends up being deflected back onto me in my mind. As if I wasnât the one hurt in the situation.
Ultimately I fear most of all heâs the one who views me this way. I dunno ;P
what about yall though? What are some songs she has that should work for you, but just backfire because one or two lyrics change the entire meaning of it for you?
