No dress code provided, but I know the bride would be fine with more casual cottagecore/picnic vibes as well as more formal depending on guest comfort. I've included the shoes I will be wearing (can't wear heels). I usually wear black with more of an alt/goth style and also a fair bit of brown/autumnal colours/70s inspired. Ideally I want a dress that I will wear again I'm in the UK for any suggestions. I'm pale with dark hair, and have a lot of tattoos (inc neck, chest, back, arms) so usually steer away from anything highly patterned/high contrast as I think it clashes. Ich (30W) arbeite in einer Bank, verdiene überdurchschnittlich und habe gute Arbeitszeiten. Aber dennoch kann ich mich nicht mehr aufraffen, meiner Arbeit nachzukommen. Mittlerweile bin ich wirklich zum Zombie mutiert und alles fällt mir schwer.
Ich arbeite dort seit ca. einem Jahr und über die Zeit hinweg habe ich nicht nur mentale sondern auch merklich körperliche Reaktionen entwickelt, weil ich das Gefühl habe, dass mein Körper permanent (un)bewusst Stress ausgesetzt ist.
Mein Chef und Team sind wirklich toll, es ist eher die Arbeit selbst. Andere Aufgaben oder Abteilungswechsel ist erst einmal nicht absehbar. Ich bin davon überzeugt, dass ich nicht fürs Büro gemacht bin und ich auch gerne einen gewissen Sinn in meinem Beruf abseits von Geld sehen möchte. Um es nur fürs Geld zu tun, dafür geht mMn einfach zu viel Lebenszeit drauf und meine Prios liegen eher im Privatleben als in der Karriere.
Als kurzfristige “Lösung” habe ich im Dezember auf 80% reduziert und so zumindest einen Tag die Woche frei, aber langfristig orientiere ich mich komplett neu, sprich ich würde ggf. nochmal dual oder per Fernstudium studieren, tatsächlich -vor allem wenn man dann doch so einige Fixkosten mit Auto etc. hat- ist es gar nicht so leicht sich zu überwinden. Ich bin aktuell single und finanziere alles (Miete, Auto, Sport, Urlaub) selbst. Aktuell sehr gut machbar, aber bei einem Neuanfang dann doch ein Faktor, der mir aktuell etwas Bauchschmerzen macht.
War jemand schon einmal in einer ähnlichen Situation? Was war eure Lösung und wie ist es bisher verlaufen?

I've always done this. If I'm walking back to my house and spot litter on the ground, I'll pick it up and pop it in my bin. If there's a buildup of litter somewhere, I'll always grab a bin bag and go and sort it out.
I'd always assumed this was fairly standard behaviour, but comments from friends along the lines of "but it's not your problem" have made me think lots of people don't do this?
Surely people want to take pride in their street and don't want to be wading through junk whenever they go out?
