I live in a 120 year old dirt and rubble foundation home next to a farm with my wife. The problem with my foundation is that i can dig a few inches into the dirt outside and im basically in the dead air of my 4 foot crawl space. We had a massive rat infestation where they destroyed our stove and dishwasher after tunneling into our basement. We had a guy come in and put poison boxes around the property and traps in the basement. Since then we haven't seen or heard one in the house (at least a few months now). Did they move on somewhere or is it just because it's winter that I haven't seen anything? I killed one with my bare hands, I'm friggin traumatized and don't want them to come back in the summer. I'm not doing the huge vegetable garden like last year and we've mitigated the problems where we can but we can't really afford a new foundation. My question is did this pack of rats leave for the winter, the poison, did they find someone with worse foundation than mine? How likely is it that they will be back

All of REM being 90 minutes, and short sleep window being 5-6 hours.
I seem to wake up consistently in the middle of the night after about 90 minutes of REM. This is usually at the 5-6 hour mark of sleep.
I can go back to sleep quite easily but feel as though those last 2-3 hours are not restorative and result in me feeling more tired upon waking.
When looking online at typical sleep cycles, it seems as though REM should be finishing around hour 7-8 and not 5-6 like for myself.

Boa tarde, adquiri recentemente um tiguan recentemente de 2018 e após dias de chuva (creio ser este o padrão) tenho um problema:
na primeira vez, deixei de conseguir abrir a porta do pendura por fora, destrancava o carro,ouvia a porta a destrancar mas não conseguia abrir por fora. Se abrisse por dentro primeiro, depois conseguia abrir por fora sempre até trancar o carro.
Passado uns dias voltou a abrir por fora sem problema.Depois, passou a acontecer isso na porta detrás (atras do pendura)demorou alguns dias a auto resolver-se mas ficou operacional.
Agora não consigo abrir a bagageira...
O problema é estranho, creio que acontece por causa de humidade mas não sei onde, visto aconteceu em 3 lugares distintos. Já aconteceu a alguém?
já levei a 2 eletricistas mas nenhum deles conseguiu ver nenhuma anomalia...

I guess I have grown tired of manually checking the status of some devices on our family home network and would like to know what would be possibly the easiest way to collect SNMP data from devices, especially that real-time status of UPS.
I have 3 locations to monitor that are connected via VPN and I am looking for the easiest to deploy solution that could run in Docker on my Synology. Zabbix looks overcomplicated and PRTG has gone full cloud.
Any other ideas / positive experience?

Flyers fan here. Despite how brutal the last decade has been supporting our team, my dad, brother and I do an away trip once per year.
This year we are doing the Sunday 2/2 game Flyers and Avs.
Any recommendations for restaurants / must see and do items at the arena? Best places to eat around the building? Any tips in general going to the game? It’s a Sunday matinee.
We are staying downtown not far from the building at all.

Hi all. I'm preparing to go live with my new Ghost Pro site in a few weeks. After 18 years on self-hosted WordPress, I'm making a complete move to a hosted service with Ghost.
I'm confident about this, knowing that Ghost is not like WP in terms of creating the blog, design, features, etc, with a well-established and comprehensive ecosystem with themes, plugins and more. So, I'm diving into CSS and minimalism. I don't expect my new Ghost blog to be 100% polished when I go live; more a work in progress. I'm toying with buying a theme (Reflect and Spotlight are top of my choices) which I'll likely install after launch. Currently, I'm using the Ghost-provided Headline v1.0.0 theme. It's not bad.
I did a complete export from WordPress using Ghost's exporter plugin for WordPress. With the help of Ghost Pro support, the exported output (a 1.3-gig file) was successfully imported into Ghost. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly this worked, not a glitch anywhere.
So I'm ok with things at the moment!

Serious question. I work 12hr days 6 days a week. It's a gift when I get a holiday off. I actual feel like I get a real 2 day weekend.
But when I work the window the next day so many people are like, "I drove all the way here to mail this important document and I was livid to find you were closed".
Look I'm sorry that were not the best to inform you, but we're people too and we need a day off sometimes. I just don't get the anger.

The immediate answer would probably be no, because it isn’t my business. But lately, she’s been making it my business. She begs me for money because I have a history of helping him out, long before she was in the picture. She sends me her Twitch sponsorships, tells me to watch her stream, or even flat out asks for handouts, although that’s only happened twice. She posts a lot on Facebook, coming across as whiny when she doesn’t get the money she wants.
The money issue aside, she talks a lot to other guys that she’s dated (in front of him) about their previous sexual encounters. He doesn’t seem to mind this, and that’s good and all, but she makes sexual remarks to me on occasion as well. I don’t know if he’s uncomfortable with it, he doesn’t talk about this stuff.
The most recent issue is that she constantly begs him for attention, refuses his attention when he offers because she “feels bad”, and tells him he’s spending way too much time with me. Meanwhile the poor guy tries to communicate with her, offer her solutions, points out that he spends a LOT of time with her, going into explicit detail while she whines about it. It is so unbelievably toxic, but they genuinely love each other and I can’t wrap my head around it. So that’s why I put up with it. Do I maintain this course, or do I have this hard conversation with him? How do I go about it if so?
