I'm in the UK and trying to sort out travel insurance for an upcoming European ski trip in February. 4 of us in the group are immediate family i.e. 2 x parents and 2 x children who reside in the UK. However the 5th member of our group is a grandparent who lives in Germany. All of the travel insurance companies I'm looking at either directly or through comparison sites only seem to cover UK residents.
Can I simply take out insurance for just the 4 out of 5 people in our group who are UK residents and ask the 5th member to take out their own policy? Or do I need to find a single policy that covers the entire group?

2025.01.22 13:42 Gousf Updated last night, put on wireless Charger (like every night) now phone wont turn on or light up when plugged in
So last night before going to bed, I had the latest update install, and I set up my phone on my charger like I always do and it showed charging, I woke up this morning and it wont start up, I have tried numerous plugs to get it to charge and nothing is showing any responsiveness.
Any suggestions, I have tried the power and volume down button numerous times, I have tried taking out the stylus nothing there either. I tried using the find my device and it appears around 4am or so it stopped communicating with google.
I see some people suggest trying the freezer but that makes me a bit nervous. Open to any other ideas was planning to upgrade next week but I gotta get my stuff off of here even if it wont power up is there a way to transfer all the memory stuff?

This is a little story explaining why I like Lan Yan so much. I was debating posting this, as it seems almost too convenient to be true, but it really is.
I started playing Genshin a few years ago and I fell in love with the game! I really loved the characters, elements, gameplay, etc.; so I decided to make my own "OC" (or more of a character I'd love to see in the future). Unfortunately, I don't have my notes to prove this anymore, but I started jotting down notes of a character that I would love to see in the game.
Now a little backstory on me. My favorite type of weapon in games/media is the Chakram (and/or Shuriken). Think the Dancer job in FFXIV, how Nezha plays in Warframe, if you've ever played it, or the big throwing shuriken that Sasuke uses in Naruto. Well since there wasn't a chakram-user at the time, of course I gave the character this weapon.
Next is the element. I really loved the anemo element at the time, as my favorite characters were Jean, Xiao, and Heizou. I also really loved how anemo works, swirling with other elements and creating new visuals and effects. Naturally this was the element I chose for my new character.
Here is where it gets a little too convenient to believe. Lastly, I had to decide how the character plays. Of course, throwing the chakrams around in-between enemies while doing anemo damage was the basic attack, but the skill is where is gets a little bizarre. There wasn't an anemo shielder, at the time and after seeing how Lumine's tornado mixes with pyro, I thought it would be so cool to have an anemo shield that actually mixed with other elements and create new shields. Like, imagine a swirling ball of pyro around the character that deals damage to anyone in range, reacting off other elements; or a cold blizzard around the character that would like freeze enemies with hydro on the etc. Unfortunately, Lan Yan doesn't have quite the same thing going on like I was thinking, but still.
The only real difference between my character and Lan Yan was that mine was a 5* and was more of an offensive shielder who mainly does damage, but yea. Imagine my surprise when I saw Lan Yan announced, lol. So anyways, I just figured this would be an interesting story to tell. Anyone pull her yet? Having fun with her?

My wife ordered an Uber to transport a package. He got to our house, made a u turn, backed into our neighbors bumper, cancelled the ride and sped off.
What do we do? The police will literally laugh if we asked them to come out for this, there’s not much damage on the car. I think I caught it on camera though, but should I report to Uber?
