I don't remember the name, but me and my older sister used to watch it together. I'd sit right behind her and watch it with her. I don't remember all too much of it, but I very vividly remember how the main (?) character was in this business where she wrote letters for people, and she had metal prothstetic fingers (???). She was blonde, I think, and there was one episode where she was with a dying soldier, or at least injured, and he asked her to write a letter to his kin for him, and she started typing in the air to practice it. I don't really know, but if anyone had an answer for which anime this is, I'd be grateful ! :]

The paradox: you can’t succeed without failing first. Failure isn’t an obstacle, it’s the foundation for achievement.
I know this first-hand. I've failed at almost everything I've attempted. Yet I've eventually succeeded at many of those same things. The difference is learning to reframe failure as feedback.
Let me share an experiment that captures this perfectly:
A ceramics teacher split his class in two. One half was graded on quantity — the more pots they made, the higher their grade. The other half was graded on quality — they only had to create one perfect pot.
By the semester's end, something unexpected happened:
The "quantity" group produced not only more pots but better pots overall. While the "quality" group obsessed over perfection, the "quantity" group learned through repeated action and failure. Every imperfect pot taught them something new.
Progress comes from iteration, not perfection. Your failures aren't setbacks — they're education.
Here's how to fail forward:
- Fail fast — Don’t overanalyse. Take action quickly to gather real-world feedback. The sooner you act, the sooner you’ll learn.
- Fail with purpose — Don’t take random shots, test, adapt, and refine. Each failure should teach you something.
- Fail often — Frequent attempts sharpen your skills and build momentum. Volume beats perfection.
The more freely you allow yourself to fail, the sooner you'll become the person capable of achieving your dreams.

I am cutting caffeine and am ordering a machine just for me to brew a decaf cup of coffee (not espresso) daily. I’ve found a lot of decaf I like, but the frothiness from our other machine is what I’m missing! (It uses preloaded beans so I can’t replace it daily from other family members use.) Reading and it looks like I need a VertuoPlus. Sound right? If so, what pods would I order to brew a cup of decaf coffee (not espresso) - I’ll add creamer and be happy! TYIA - I’ve worked in my current industry (tourism & hospitality) for almost 7 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I work in marketing for a Destination Marketing Organization, basically my job is to promote our city as a tourist destination.
I recently was head hunted on LinkedIn and approached with an opportunity to work for a Uranium mining company as a Communications Manager which would double my salary.
The thought of changing industries and moving into something that I know absolutely nothing about is very scary. Marketing positions in general are extremely scarce right now, so if it were to not work out, I could potentially be facing a year-long job hunt. My current industry is also not an easy one to move back into if I were to leave and want to come back. There’s only one DMO in every city, so I’d probably have to move to find another job back in my industry.

Hello everyone,
I have recently come across a topic of blade thinning. I have watched a couple of videos / read some reddit posts and I started to wonder. Is there any reason not to use a guided system (assuming the system can do 5 degree or so angles required for the thinning process) instead of whetstone (assuming I have a guided system and no whetstones)? Are there any pitfalls / downsides to it?

So, we broke up a month ago due to constant arguing etc, I know my problems in the relationship and she said she need to work on herself. New year's I messaged I was too emotional and I kind of destroyed everything as during the breakup she said in the future give me a second chance. New year's she said if nothing changes within you she refuses to go back. I messaged her to meetup few days ago and I was too pressuring and she said that with the way things are going she doesn't see an us happening at all. And I apologised on a voice note and told her I'll do what I need to do to move on. And my stupid brain I send her a voice note telling her that I love her and I'm grateful she's in my life. Aaaaand she replied by saying that she doesn't care about how I feel etc, and that I'm crossing boundaries by keeping to message her and the more I message her the more I push her further away. I'm going No contact I think that's it. Any chance ive had I've ruined it all cause I wanted to see her up close and talk to her and take accountability for a few of the things that went wrong in the relationship as she broke up w me over the phone and ever since then she's been trying her best to not see me at all. So no contact till I heal and after I heal I decide whether or not to contact again I have no idea.

After enjoying a week and a half of feeling decent enough. Not normal, just feeling better enough to be able to function. But I a,so got my appetite back and indulged I more sugar than I have ate through the last 12 months. Now I feel terrible. I ache, my back, headache, stomach is unhappy, dizzy, runny nose, insomnia and the friggen anxiety….blah.
So I don’t know if I am dealing with something (there is so much going around right now). I’ve been careful and wear my mask when out and the people I have been around feel ok. I’m feeling pretty down.
I also have this weird toe cramping. Like the toes spasm. Especially at night when trying to fall asleep. It’s been there before but feels more intense.
Wanted to reach out to people who would understand.
