I have finally found myself enjoying Morrowind. It is a game I have tried to play for ages, but could never get around the difficulty of it. I finally found there is a difficulty slider, and lowering that has helped me get a better feel and grasp for how it plays.
I have found myself in some weird situations however. For instance I had my first quest too find this wood elves stash in the starting town. I was told to go up to the lighthouse to see where he goes at night. For 3 days I could hardly see him, and could not discern where he was going.
It was not until I left the lighthouse and followed him at night that I could discern that he was stashing his stuff in a log. Idk why I was recommended the lighthouse.
Second thing was I found skooma and moon sugar. The merchant in town would not deal with me, so I went to stash it in the same log. I could not. So I stashed it inside the merchants shop. Funny enough I put it in his shop inventory. So he would not let me sell it, but now he was actually selling me moon suger and skooma. After my sale I went to take it back, only to get one shot by some lady.
This game is unexpectedly hilarious at times. So I ask you guys who do I sell my ill begotten drugs too? Also do I get some sort of reward for freeing slaves at some point? Or could I even be a slaver myself?

2025.01.22 17:02 ovi_left_faceoff Incredibly Loud (and seemingly inefficient) HVAC
Model is FB4CNP025L00, not sure what else I can tell you other than it runs on electric and not gas. I guess it's a furnace system? There is what I believe to be a heat pump outside. Also, I live in the mid-atlantic if that actually matters.
The whistling sound is super annoying, and the unit doesn't do a great job of actually heating the house either. The thermostat also seems faulty - eg I have it set to 70, and the screen thinks the ambient temperature is 70, but when I walk around with an instead read thermometer it hovers from 65-67 degrees. And as you can tell from the video, it sounds like it is working very hard just to maintain that. Our drafty doors/windows are definitely a problem, but we've been in this place for a few winters and this is the first time the unit has been this loud and inaccurate in it's temp readings. The other week I removed the grate that you can see at the bottom of the video and vacuumed up as much dust as i could (there was a fair bit, but it wasn't SUPER thick, like no more than a few MM) - this helped for maybe a day before the sound got loud again.
One thing I'm wondering about is the gap visible around :06 between sheet of metal that is above the filter and the rest of the unit on top of it - I am assuming that used to lay flat and has gotten warped over time, could this be the issue as some air gets sucked through there and bypasses the filter? You can hear the whistling get louder when I open the filter access, too. The filter itself was swapped out for a clean one less than 3 weeks ago, so that shouldn't be an issue. Should I maybe try taping over that gap or is there more likely a deeper problem here? It's been pretty damn cold lately, and I'd hate to run up my energy bill even more due to a faulty unit, especially if it's a simple fix.

Hey there I got a question, hopefully someone can help. I got myself the Zelda TOTK and Splatoon 3 Switch Pro controllers from a local store, I got a receipt by the way. The store also sells Nintendo Switch consoles and accessories but they recently started to sell Japanese products of pretty much everything.
I paid around $90 for each controller, I was happy but I started to have some doubts after I saw a fake Zelda controller that was pretty much identical to the one I got. So I went and started to test everything that I saw online, here is a list of what I tested:
- NFC and amiibo functionality (check)
- HD Rumble, tested with Mario Wonder music (check)
- Serial number on the left grip (check)
- Wake console on home (check)
- Details of the design flawless (check)
- Controller, box and cables says Nintendo (check)
- Seal of quality on the box (failed)
- Quality of the cardboard (medium)
Is there something that I can do besides tearing down the controllers just to be sure that I got myself some original controllers?

Have chronic back pain for a while now due to herniated disc, skiing the other week triggered a very acute pain, hadn't had this bad episode for a long time, recovered naturally for about 1.5 weeks now and already felt better. Went to see a chiropractor today and only got like 4 mins treatment plus some heated stem stuff on my back, copay was $50, it does further alleviate the pain a bit, i was asked to come three times a week for the following 2 weeks, plus 2/ week for 3 weeks.. thought it's a bit excessive for just a back spasm and i am already recovering, may i get your thoughts?
