 | Basically the title. I lost 50/50 to Rina M1 (which supposedly is actualy quite good), so I'm wondering what are people's opinions on characters that would most benefit my account? I have 30 pulls and I heard that Qingyi would be a massive boost to my account, but my understanding is that Astra is also a massive boost to my account? So should I continue to use my guarnteed on Astra or just wait till Qingyi drops? My characters below. This is from a non leftist on the outside looking in. I truly admire vivziepop's intentions for queer representation and I am concerned about Trump policies being harmful to said demographic. But we need to dial back the hysteria. Lecturing people that abbreviating Hazbin Hotel is remindful of the natsi chant and now we want to ban twitter links because people assume the guy who now owns it did the gesture. Now you can hate Elon, his current politics and what he did to twitter all you want. That's not the issue. But calling him a nasti and this as the last straw ain't it.
I truly believe it is exactly the crying wolf and echo chamber mindset is what led to what we are now. And people on reddit repeating these failed tactics is earning them the bad reputation they get. And people in the Helluverse fandom embracing such mindset is concerning because we will earn the bad rep we try to deny.
If you think this is the best way to "resist", think again.

Hello, beautiful people! I've been having a blast making a couple of country wines with great success (haven't had the chance to taste them after aging yet but it seems promising) during the past year. So far I've made wine on:
-Meadowsweet -Redcurrant -Mountain Ash -Apples -Dandelion -Hibiscus
Up until now everything has gone very smoothly, but last week I started the process of wine containing Aronia (predominantly), some blueberries and some blackberries. Roughly coming out to 13 litres of juice. I used RC212 for yeast, roughly 3.3 kg of sugar, and all the other "standard" things (nutrients, pectic enzyme, etc).
Activated the yeast and it is definitely some carbonation action happening, but after 4 days there is still no bubbles through the airlock. Temperature in the room sits between 20-23 degrees celsius, and I have been stirring tje juice twice a day to introduce more oxygen during primary fermentation.
Should I be worried due to the slow fermentation process, or keep my cool for a few days longer? If not much is happening, how would you all restart it or jolt it alive?
Opinions and help are much appreciated, this is an amazing community. Thank you!
Tldr; Aronia wine is very slow in primary fermentation, should I restart it and if that's the case, how?

2025.01.22 20:50 dangdiddlydangerzone I (tenant) accidentally damaged a discontinued stovetop, and now my landlord wants to charge me for a full new stove - can he?
So off the bat I take responsibility for accidentally damaging the stovetop. I was cooking and knocked my cooking oil over, which nicked the side of the stovetop creating a small 3cm chip in the side. This happened July 2024, I let my landlord know right away that the accident had happened and he did not facilitate any repairs.
I am now about to move out and he is claiming that I need to pay $1500 for a brand new unit, as my stove is discontinued and he cant replace the glass top, which I have no control over. He actually asked that I pay for this unit BEFORE our final walkthrough while he still has my deposit, which I know he can't do.
So, do you think that I'll have to pay the full $1500 for a new unit ($200 more than my security deposit even was)? Or just pay what the repairs would have costed on the depreciated unit? I checked in with my renters insurance and they said they don't cover things that are the landlords property.

Did anyone notice when u spinning in tycoon there’s no longer a chance for a purple pack? The best u can get, a crappy orange. Cheaper, stingier, fewer shields to land on, more things to collect for crappier rewards. I was having a lot of fun playing the first few months, I actually spent real cash 🤦🏻♀️, I was enjoying playing the game. The last few haven’t been nearly as fun. I haven’t spent $ in months because it’s not as fun and seems tougher to land on what u need. I wonder how many ppl r actually leaving the game? Sigh, I hope all of our bitching and complaining may help a bit, and they’ll, at the very least, stop taking so many things away and making the game harder and less enjoyable.

I’m at my wits end with chronic pain and nothing helping. RSO has helped me tremendously in the past but I can’t get my hands on it now. Today, I made the teeniest bit (I think lol) to try before I make a large batch. I’ve wasted so much weed making edibles that are great for everyone else but I’ve never had success with edibles working for me so I wanted to test it first. I followed a YouTube video and used everclear. The alcohol evaporated pretty quickly bc it was such a small amount.
Does it look okay? Can I consume it right away?

2025.01.22 20:50 SpockBauru I need to upgrade my s10e, but AI is keeping me out…
My old Galaxy S10e is literally falling apart. The back panel is ungluing, and I can see the internal components.
I tried to watch today’s presentation about the S25, but I couldn't finish due to the amount of unsolicited AI bloat that was presented as a feature, it looks like I will not have control of the phone anymore, the AI will.
Also, I’m not a photographer and don’t understand much about photos, but why are photos of my ancient phone seems… sharper than the S24U? I mean, the colors are better, but everything seems overly smooth, like if a layer of colorful Vaseline was put on the photo. Even when both photos are transferred to a PC via cable and the photos are on the same screen the issue is still there. Strangely when the photo is taken it looks excellent on the camera app but is magically downgraded after.
I’m starting to think that I will have to glue again the back panel of my S10e and hope it doesn’t break…
Does Samsung have any other phone with a powerful processor (I really need the power) that doesn’t have those intrusive AI bloat?
