well im only 3 months into this experience with gerd sysmptoms. still waiting for test and referal to a Gi doctor.
anwyays I tried 20mg nexium which is the ONLY available over counter ppi here.
it worked alright for 3 weeks but then 4th week at start of december in i started experiencing heavy heart palpatations.
i went cold turkey and the palpatations subsided as well. so im assuming it was cause and effect.
things didnt get better or worse for the month and i hoped diet change would be enough but last few days i noticed ive been refluxing more and now experiencing a new symptom called globus sensation? like somehting is stuck or lump in throat along with the pressure feeling behind my sternum that has happened and sitll happning since day 1
been trying Pepcid AC over counter which helps but its not enough/not long lasting.
I think i need to go back on PPis again :( and i know their are different kinds and obviously it can have side effects of different kinds for every person.
Have any of you found a PPi that has been working for you?

2025.01.22 18:21 mattylike Anyway to get Steam to recognize the game? (Bought on the Microsoft store because I'm a dumdum)
I discovered HF1 on the game pass and like an idiot I bought the entire catalog and DLCs on the microsoft store (PC). I then discovered that the Microsoft store doesn't have all the DLCs, so these dlcs are out of my reach unless I purchase the entire game all over again on Steam, which is expensive.
Does anyone know if there's any way to get Steam to recognize that I own the games and dlcs or get access to these DLCs via the Microsoft store?

For the new year, I'm going to replay all the games. Trying to play them "thoroughly" so reading everything, finding everything, getting all the achievements. I started with SSH and decided to read the book as well!
Some fun new things for me from the game: 1) Bob Bobson 2) Punchy LaRue being a donor to Beech Hill 3) Read Alejandro's paper on his desk, took a screenshot and zoomed in.
The fun thing about the book was reading everyone's dialogue in their game voices and this beautiful line "“Everyone in the room smiled at the young Mexican” in regards to Alejandro! The book was pretty different from the game so it was worth reading.
Next, TRT and I'm going to read the book too! :)

2025.01.22 18:21 BirdLawPM Archive or File Folders? Will my Outlook search find the emails I need if I archive them?
I had a work email accidentally flag as "read" when I hadn't actually read it, which caused a little kerfuffle as it was a task that I was in charge of and needed to rush a bit to get back on track. Now, all my co-workers are helpfully trying to explain their email filing systems (everyone here has one with like 100 folders), and they basically use the inbox as a to-do list and then file each mail away into some sub-sub-sub folder.
This strikes me as quite bizarre. I know Outlook has a reputation for a bad email search function, but is this necessary?
I can imagine building folders for important emails that you need in the short term, or may need for long-term reference purposes (stuff with links, like medical, government, or similar communications), but for workplace emails I feel like most stuff that needs action should be tracked some other way (like a work management system or task tracker) and anything you need referencing long-term should be in a file or document and not an email.
Also, is there a better way to manage this stuff so it takes less time?
I have some automation set up to move easy stuff (mails directed to me via an info@ account, for example) but without workplace discipline regarding stuff like keywords and metadata flagging I can't configure everything with [LEGAL][NEED SIGN] in it to go into a Legal Documents (Pending Approval) folder and subfolder.
Dragging it by hand feels really lousy too, but I'm in a Mac ecosystem here and the Mac client seems a bit weaker in features, like left-side Category/Color Group pinning.

I was baptized and received communion in a Roman Catholic Church when I was young I fell away and feel called to go back but I’ve gone into a Byzantine Catholic Church and I like it a lot. Can I just go and attend and obviously after confession receive communion? Or do I have to get baptized again stuff here?

What are some of the NON ssri/snri/benzo options for severe anxiety and panic attacks? I want to bring some options up with my doctor but if anyone has any experience with something like that, and something that does not cause any bad withdrawals I would love to know. Also a massive plus if it’s something that helps with insomnia getting to sleep. I also have asthma so I think I can’t take beta blockers.

Hi all! Question about lamination and tint. I use tretinoin daily, but would like to get this service done. My brows were microbladed years ago but I’m letting them fade before laser removal/eventually redoing them, and think this would be a great option in the meantime! Question is: My artist’s FAQ says to stop tret 3 weeks before the service to avoid risks of chemical burn. Do I need to stop tret on my whole face, or just within an inch or so of my brows? I definitely don’t want to stop on my whole face and have to re-acclimate my skin to tret after stopping, so fingers crossed I can still get my brows done! TIA 🫶

I'm attempting to help me old man setup some batteries he got but he is running into issues where his pc isn't recognizing his batteries. He is attempting to use a Valance Battery Diagnostic software, but since he didn't purchase the batteries though them they are not being helpful. I am totally in the dark about this whole process, but we're attempting to fumble our way through this. Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Ive been noticing lately I been doing less missions/activities and more driving around lookin at npc, buildings, nature, etc. it’s crazy because I mostly play in 3rd person, but i have been turning the map off and switching to 1st person and it’s like a new game for me lmao.
