Prob a dumb question but I tried searching and I haven’t found a definitive answer. I’m male and fleet feet measured me at a 8.5 2E. I have low arches. They recommended stability shoes but the couple I’ve worn hurt. I’ve been actively running consistently for 7-8 months and just completed a marathon in 3:45. I’ve been rotating between brooks glycerin and acids novablast. I’ve also tried and love new balance 880s. It’s hard for me to try on new shoes instead my size due to the local stores not carrying 2Es in stock. Big question is I would like to get a “faster” shoe for tempo workouts but nothing seems to be made in 8.5 2E. Is it ok to size up to maybe a 9 D in a different shoe?
TLDR: can I size up in regular D shoes instead of 2E sizes?

¿Soy yo el/la malo por no querer cuidar de mi abuelo enfermo? Primero un pequeño contexto ya que el título podría dar una respuesta obvia. Yo, mujer de 19 años estoy en una disputa con mi familia toxica debido a que los hijos de mi abuelo no quieren hacerse cargo cuando él tiene graves problemas de salud, el pasado viernes mi abuelo tuvo un pico de presión, ceguera, temblores en la boca y un fuerte dolor de cabeza qué lo dejó internado él tiene problemas al corazón, la presión, diabetes y en un mal momento llego a tener una acv. El tiene 4 hijos de un anterior matrimonio y otros 3, mi madre y mis tíos que los tuvo con mi abuela; cuando esto pasó yo me encontraba a más de 2 horas de distancia y eran alrededor de las 10pm así que no tenía formas de llegar apenas me avisaron de la condición de mi abuelo, a las 7 am ya estaba esperando el micro a pesar de haber ido a llevar a mi novio al aeropuerto (tiene leve relevancia). A las 10 am ya estaba en la casa de la abuela, ya había pedido días en el laburo y ya empezó el problema. Desde el momento que llegue se me cuestiono por no haber estado en el momento exacto que recibí el msj y por haber acompañado a mi novio al aeropuerto. Entonces todos estos días me estuve haciendo cargo (el primer día a la noche) de 7am a 7pm y luego pagaban un cuidador o venía la pareja de mi madre, y desde ayer me piden de 4m a 10pm pero al no poder hacer otras cosas por estar en la clínica recibo quejas de la familia y manipulación emocional al quejarme por estar cansada. Siendo 7 hijos que pueden hacerse cargo del abuelo ¿yo soy el/la malo por no querer cuidarlo?
