Hi all!
So this is my x ray from October 2023. I rolled my foot and was told I have a jones fracture. I was sent to an ortho and he said there was no need for surgery and had me in a walking boot for 3 months until January 2024. When I was discharged from his care my x ray showed it was not fully fused together, but it had like a calcium bump (I don’t know medical terms I’m sorry lol) on the side of the bone keeping it together enough.
Fast forward to a few nights ago I rebroke the same fracture (I don’t have a pic of the x ray sadly) and the er doc said I’ll most likely need surgery now to fix it and is sending me to another ortho. I have a temp cast on and have crutches at the moment.
Anybody have anything to weigh in on? Is surgery the right option? Will this new surgeon also say wait and see and I’m screwed again? Is a boot just as effective as a cast?
I remember during my monthly follow up during the first break I expressed wanting surgery simply because I’m inpatient and the idea of a boot for 3 months was terrifying lol. My doctor said absolutely no surgery. But now I’m a year later and completely broken again.
Anyone have similar x rays? Or experiences? Also I’m Canadian so with out health care there isn’t really “second opinions”.

 | We moved in August, and after many attempts at finding the best furniture layout, this is where our TV has to be. There are no other options whatsoever. A new (and too long for the tv legs) sound bar, and a higher traffic area with a young dog, we need to mount this thing asap. I have looked at so many mounts because this TV needs to go exactly center and just above the stand, only enough to cover the thermostat, but I can't figure out what type of mount is best? Is there such a mount that let's you hit the studs so it is secure, and also move the TV to EXACTLY where you want it? How adjustable can it get?  | I genuinely think my cat dislikes me and wishes I didn’t adopt him. He seems unhappy? I try to play with him, he loses interest. I try to pet him, cuddle him, hold him, give attention, bites me. I genuinely put a lot of effort into making him cozy and happy - I buy top quality prescription vet food for urinary health and multi care stress ($) I gave him an entire wall jungle, he has a variety of hammocks and scratch posts around the house, get him new toys, bought a feliway diffuser for good feline vibes etc. He scream meows at me all day. The repetitive high pitch sound is pushing my sanity. We have a dog that he cuddles and he’s never alone for long I think he must have been an outside cat before I adopted him, and he’s unhappy being an inside cat. It’s really unfortunate because I live in suburbs and it’s not really a place for cats to roam - only place to go outside of our small yard is other people’s yard and roads which are not options. I also live in a climate that gets to -40 Celsius and is not safe for any living being to go outside in that. Kind of at a loss 😫 photos showing his good moments. He’s my first ever cat and I’ve heard that orange cats are particularly spicy, so I dunno if this is all par for the course but feeling frustrated. Hi, I'm a hobbyist woodworker. I have a 20-amp and a 15-amp circuit in my garage.
I've been running my shop vac (for dust collection) and lights on the 15-amp circuit and whatever power tool I'm using off the 20-amp circuit plus an additional light.
Am I okay using a space heater on the 20-amp circuit (provided I turn it off before using a power tool on the 20amp circuit)? Is one type of heater safer than the other? I had thought about getting one of those electric oil filled radiators and only using the 600 W setting. I currently have a ceramic space heater but recently reviewed its safety features and it does not have tip over protection.
I'm getting some bigger tools and plan to have an electrician out to install a couple of other 20-amp breakers and 220, so this is just an interim solution.

I don’t know if this is the place to go but I was not sure where else to go. My beautiful and wonderful fiancé has OCD. I have known this for as long as I have known him and we generally navigate through things really well. Although I am having a worry recently and am wondering if anyone has experience in this or has advice.
He has pretty severe health ocd and can obsess over all of the different feelings in his body. His symptoms are always a 10/10 in terms of urgency for him. My main method of dealing with things is helping him breakdown his feelings and giving him more likely reasons for the things he is feeling. However, I worry that someday I may dismiss something that is truly very serious. He is not the best gauge of threat or severity in these situations and he generally relies on me to help in these situations. He is prone to sickness and injury so more serious problems are not impossible, but 90% of the time things are not harmful.
I am just looking for advice on how to navigate a situation like this. I want to validate his feelings without enabling him and I also want to make sure I don’t dismiss an urgent situation.
I can clarify things further if needed.

Looking to the Reddit community to help me with my T&L Build. Currently running GS/Dagger. Playing on Kastleton. Started with Ranged/Magic Evasion, but been getting melted by speax a ton (not sure if it's just our server that's heavy on spears or every server).
Looking to switch to Melee/Ranged evasion for more survivability. I understand that everything is a "chance" game and that everyone has a weakness. I'm also aware that arch boss weapons can change the game as well.

- Is maxing out Dex the right move (I've seen some builds push perception, curious to hear thoughts around this).
- Does the armor combo feel right?
- Are the vital stats (evasion, hit, melee crit, heavy attack, stun, collision, etc) high enough to matter in PVP?
- Is this even worth worrying about or should I wait for T2?
I appreciate everyone's guidance on this. I just started playing in mid-November so still relatively new and looking to learn from anyone who's successfully played GS/Dagger.
