Most games I play on the deck are over 7 years old. For example, playing Assassin's Creed Syndicate at 40 fps, it will sometimes drop to the high 20s.
All graphics are set to medium, FSR on, TDP limited to 12w. Allow tearing is on. Given that Syndicate is a game from 2015, I am very shocked at the fps drop. What am I doing wrong?

Hey everyone,
I’m just getting into the hobby again after a roughly 20 year break. I found an old Army of Faith box set at my LGS and snatched it up. I also received a box of battle sisters, a some paragon war suits for Christmas from my wife.
Oddly enough, I snagged an extra assembled exorcist for about $20 locally, so that’s the reason this list is running two.
My strategy is to have seraphim and the jump canoness with the zephyrim deep strike in while vaulgons, mortifiers, and sacrosants +palatine (in an immolator) push up the mid board. One full squad of battle sisters sit on the home objective, while the other splits into the remaining immolator and tries to screen or draw fire.
Like is said, I’m a complete novice and playing with kits I already own. My question is, how badly will I get tabled running this rough plan?

Hi everyone,
My skin has a really bumpy, textured look with noticeable hyperpigmentation. I also have very oily skin.
For about two years, I was washing my face three times a day with an alkaline soap, which I now realize may have damaged my skin barrier and caused these issues. After that, I switched to the cerave foaming cleanser, but it caused a big breakout.
Recently, I switched to a gentler cleanser, and my acne is starting to improve. However, I’m not sure what to do about the texture and hyperpigmentation.
I’m considering adding azelaic acid (15%) and a niacinamide serum to my routine once my skin barrier gets better, to help with the texture and pigmentation. What do you guys think? Are there any other recommendations?

Hi, if you’re looking for a way to make a decent amount of money online, training AI works for me. I can imagine a lot of people on here know about it but I would like to share my experience. I will say you do actually have to produce quality work this isn’t one of those get rich quick while doing nothing ads lol.
On top of my current job, I use OutlierAI a few nights a week. From my experience, I’d say anyone with a decent level of common sense can complete tasks. However, some tasks might require specific expertise such as maths or coding (these pay more).
The amount of time I spend on it varies depending mostly on the availability of tasks. However, on my best week I managed to make $500 which is fairly extraordinary for the amount of time it took. Different tasks pay different rates and on this specific week I had an ongoing project that paid $30 an hour throughout the week as well as a mission. Missions are goals displayed on the app and will include a number of hours that need to be completed before a deadline. One week I had a mission that required me to complete 16 hours of work for $200 (on top of the hourly rate the tasks paid).
You can work as little or as often as you want. However, my main issue is that you can be left with an empty task queue so I wouldn’t rely on it as a real job. I know it might seem weird that it pays in dollars but it doesn’t really matter as the website pays out weekly through PayPal and the currency is automatically converted.
You do have to go through an application process and I got through the process fairly quickly. However I’ve heard some people find it hard to actually get accepted. I’ve had a couple of mates join easily through me referring them. If you drop me a DM I can refer you but, otherwise, good look (:

2025.01.22 19:10 dumpersts CRA allowed tax return but I still haven’t received refund after 6 months
I got special assessment for year 2023, and I hired an accountant to help clarify things with CRA. Shortly after in August I got the mail saying my returns are allowed, which I assumed they approved all the items.
6 months later, I still haven’t received the refund, is it common? Should I call up CRA? And would they be responsible for the interests accrued during this period of time?
