I'm looking into getting the acebeam p18 as a weapon light and looked up a review for it and they said that turbo mode is not instantly accessible, I'm wondering if there's a switch for it that can force into turbo or high depending on what i want to. For example i press a button that turns it onto turbo and one that turns it onto high so i can swap between both light modes on a whim.

I've been working on a small indie game in my free time—a pinball game inspired by Pokémon Pinball with some roguelike mechanics thrown in. It’s been such a fun project to experiment with, and I’d love to dedicate myself to it fully in the future. For now, though, it’s just me, my laptop, and a lot of trial and error. 😅
One big challenge I’ve hit recently is with art. I’m trying to use AI to generate assets (because, let’s be real, hiring a designer isn’t in the cards yet), but I’m struggling to get things that actually fit together well.
Right now, what works best for me are full background images generated by AI—but they’re a nightmare for level design. Any time I need to make tweaks or changes, it feels like the whole thing falls apart. Ideally, I’d love to generate smaller, modular assets to piece levels together and keep them cohesive, but I can’t seem to get the AI to cooperate.
Does anyone have tips for generating modular assets with AI, or advice on how to make mismatched assets fit better together?
My dream is to eventually work with a real designer (I know a few people in the industry and would love to collaborate someday), but for now, this is all just an experiment to see if the gameplay works and if people are interested.

I have a question. I’m driving a 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata and recently encountered an issue. When I first get in the car and press the start button, the car doesn’t start, and no lights come on. However, if I get out of the car, lock and unlock it, then it starts working.
The weather in my area has been extremely cold lately (around 0 F or -20C), so I suspect the battery might be the issue. But the fact that it works after locking and unlocking makes it seem odd.
What do you think could be the cause? Thanks!

Okay hear me out. I've been thinking about how the Doomsday Scenario is going to work, and most of what I've been thinking involves the conversations about directed explosions and shaped charges.
But what if it isn't?
We've heard several times how you can take a container into your inventory, and empty it in your inventory, removing just the container, or just the contents, or some combination.
We also know that liquids in your inventory that are not in a container are immediately ejected, and when that happens they do not touch the person from whom they are ejected.
The supernova-in-a-bottle is in a container.
What would happen if Carl were to remove the exploding soul crystal from the glass case in his inventory? Does the explosion count as a liquid? It is a fluid, in some sense. Probably more plasma than anything else, right? Or really really hot gas? I could imagine a scenario (a Doomsday Scenario?) where he does some "you won't get burned" thing with Emberus, allowing him to take the exploding soul crystal out of the container, immediately ejecting it from his inventory, thus protecting Carl from the blast while killing everything around him for like a 40km radius.
Maybe combine that with that shoot-a-god-in-the-eye bolt to kill Emberus's brother? Or supercharge a Laundry Day and fire it off via the Book of Boom and them set off the nuke and kill all the rich assholes driving gods on the 12th floor?
If that explosion counts as a liquid, the possibilities get really fun.
