My ex (24F) and I (27M) were in a LDR for 6 months after meeting online. We talked daily, FaceTimed, and built a deep connection over 3 months before meeting in person. She came to visit her relatives in Hungary (where I live) for 10 days and we spent 10 amazing days together. The chemistry and connection were incredible.
While together, we agreed on a gradual plan: regular visits, vacations together, and eventually one of us moving. She didn't want to live in Hungary due to childhood trauma. She was about to graduate and wanted to start her career in Italy. We discussed possibly moving to another country together after she gained experience.
After she returned home, everything changed. She became anxious about the distance and said she couldn't handle seeing me for short periods and then me leaving - it triggered her abandonment issues. She gave me an ultimatum maybe even unwillingly: either move immediately or we stay just friends until I decide to move. She suggested different countries where she could work in Italian.
I have a successful career here and needed time to consider such a big move. My hesitation was interpreted as lack of commitment. During a heated argument, I said "I can't give you what you want right now" She started lashing out, calling me names, saying I was a coward and she hated me.
She offered friendship until I "decided" to move, which I declined. After some no contact, she came to my workplace with her best friend. We had one emotional phone call where she cried and asked why I gave up. I explained I just needed more time, that I still wanted her. When we tried talking again, she called me "toxic"for being hesitant about moving, dismissed my concerns as excuses, and said she "had her own demons to fight and couldn't deal with mine."
It's been a year, and I'm still stuck. I handled things professionally when she showed up at work, maintained boundaries, and tried to communicate calmly even when she was hostile. But I keep wondering if I could have done more. I've dated other women since, but nothing compares to our connection.
Was I wrong for not moving immediately? Should I have fought harder? Did I give up too easily? Looking for outside perspective.
TL;DR: Ex wanted immediate commitment to move countries after 10 days together in person. I needed time to consider. She couldn't handle the distance and turned hostile. Still struggling a year later.

2025.01.22 19:16 Courage_The_Coal Should I see an allergist or a dermatologist for my skin issues?
About 4 years ago I was diagnosed with eczema. And nothing I have tried helps. It either immediately irritates it more or it helps for a short period of time before also becoming an irritant for it. I've tried topical steroids as well and they didn't do anything. But I think I might have been misdiagnosed because I only have these skin issues when I have food service jobs. It started when I started a food service job, stopped when I left that job, and came back when I started another food service job. It starts to clear up if I'm out for a few days and almost completely goes away if I go on a weeks vacation. But from what I read, it could be allergin related, but it also could have to do with bacterial issues or too much washing my hands leading to stripping away essential moisture from my skin (we only wear gloves for specific situations and it's not super often or prolonged so I don't think it's that). I could be absorbing Zinc from out stainless steel appliances/countertops. There's a number of things it could be. But a majority of the issues seem to point to allergy. I also have celiac, POTS, hypermobile EDS, and possibly MCAS. What doctor should I see?

Hi all, since november I can't send scans to my e-mail from my WF-4830. I always get authentican error, after some research I learned that Microsoft is no longer accepting old security auth protocols. I have tried to setup an App Password but still nothing, what can I do? I have also tried to contact Epson support but I didn't get any solution from them: "We have opened a ticket, please wait". That answer is ridiculous, I'm sure they know that MS was dropping old auth so they should have been prepared to update the printers firmware.

Hey girls,
So I was driving back home from running errands, grabbing some lunch and groceries. And I am driving and all of a sudden this guy is driving right next to me, and obviously im thinking nothing of it cause people drive next to other people all the time. All of a sudden we are stopped at a red light and i look to my right and this dude is staring right at me ( it almost looks like he is looking in my soul) and I get really creeped out so I look the other direction ( right in front of me, the light is still red). When the light turns green, I let him go before me, i then put on my right turn signal because I need to make the next right turn to go towards my house, and as soon as I put on the turn signal, even though he is in front of me, all of a sudden he makes an abrupt right turn. I let him drive in front of me cause I wanna see what he is doing, ( like is he following me or what?). I stop in front of a random house cause im scared to even go near this dude and his car. As I stop, he makes a U turn and is driving towards me and then he is staring at me again and then drives off fast.
I told my brother this and my brother is making fun of me saying im being so dramatic and im being so extra ( I probably am tbhh, I have anxiety issues and I do have a tendency of being extra) but girls please be careful. Men are absolute weirdos these days, its so crazy.

I need something solid to last me through a degree program and ideally a couple years after. Battery life is not an issue as these programs are so battery heavy that I'll be tied to a plug anyway. - How important is weight and thinness to you?
-Not at all important. - Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.
16" and above due to old lady eyesight - Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.
