 | So, I've got a custom spice rack designed up that I want to print on my new whiz bang Bambu P1S printer. There was a nearly a full spool of Overture PETG that I thought I would use. It's been in the AMS for a good while with the desiccant bins. Everything went well, until the parts came free from the bed. Then mayhem ensued, and this is what I found in the morning. One of the printed pieces had been pushed off the platform and was jammed under the bed.  | Hi! I have very basic sewing skills. Like— I can do buttons, patches, rips. I haven’t done anything too elaborate, but I’m hoping I can do this. I have an event in a few days that I am wearing a vintage 1950s tartan wool skirt for. The wool skirt is kilt style (not technically a kilt) so it has a leather buckle closure. When the skirt arrived a week ago, the original leather strap was dry rotted and broke instantly. I just received a new strap— but I don’t know how to go about attaching it. I’ve come up with nothing in google searches. I love the skirt and I’d like to do it justice. Does anyone have a tutorial or any pointers??? So my friend just hit me up with a offer, his cousin is selling tattoo setup with the chairs, the machines. He got hyperfixated on tattos and bought everything that one would need to be a tattoo artist and then gave up on it less than a year later.
I want to buy the setup because I would like to be a tattoo artist you know I love tattoos and I do know what a good tattoo looks like. I love art.
But anyways can someone please bring me back to reality. If no one shames me for wanting to buy tattoo equipment when I dont even draw I will end up buying it.

2025.01.22 20:10 Ok-Village-5008 Should I get TI-nspire?
I'm doing unit 1&2 meth next year and am not sure on whether I should get a TI-nspire. I already got a casio fx because my brother happened to do methods too like 4 years ago., but I heard TI-nspire is much better. I also go to tutoring for Edatlas and they seem to have this thing called a UDF, but it's TI-nspire only.
I plan to cook (in) meth and aim to achieve raw 45+ study score, but I'm worried that the TI-nspire may make things much easier and I'm missing out.
Is it worth spending a third of a thousand on a TI, or should I just keep my head down and settle with the casio?
If so, are there any explicit benefits of a TI-nspire over a casio?

I am in the final days of studying for my series 7 exam, I test on Jan 29th. I am scoring in the high 60s lows 70s on final exams. I feel pretty good on what I read is heavily tested on the 7, suitability, munis, mutual funds, options. It’s mostly the little things I’m missing on exams like, specific details on things like ACATS or series k equities etc. what should I do? Is it worth going back and hammering out?

When I was young I sold drugs and guns illegally. The neighborhood I grew up in was really bad. I always said “nobody would ever believe this shit. Some day I’m going to write a book about it”. It’s been over 20 years and I’m not involved in that stuff anymore so I thought maybe I’ll start writing that book now. And when I really tried to remember things, maybe 4 or 5 stories come to mind. The rest? Gone with time. If I were Matthew Mark Luke or John I probably would have started writing it down right away. Not 70 years later? My guess is someone claiming to be Christ was executed at some time. Many years later James hears of it and start writing about the embellished stories he’s heard. Paul follows up with several letters to the surrounding congregations and lo and behold Jesus is King! Matthew Mark Luke and John (or people claiming to be them) publish stories about him.

mein Bruder hat mir heute geschrieben, dass unser Kater plötzlich überall hingekotzt/gekotet hat, und seitdem liegt er erschöpft rum :(( Er wollte mit ihm zum Arzt gehen, nur war leider dieser geschlossen, sollten wir in die Notfallklinik fahren oder können wir regulär morgen zum Arzt gehen? Meiner Meinung nach sieht er nur erschöpft aus, ob er Schmerzen hat kann ich leider nicht beurteilen :( Er bewegt sich nicht viel sondern chillt einfach nur rum.. Ich mache mir Sorgen.. I actually can not explain how much I’m missing boomtown, was my first year last year and what a fxcking experience!!
I have people ask me “is it worth it” and I find myself being full not able to explain how amazing it is.
I just hope that next year it isn’t filled with insensitive chavs, seems like there’s a lot more hype around it this year and I just hope it doesn’t attract the wrong crowd 🙏

Hello all, I’m wondering if this is happening to anyone else. I did some googling before posting, and it seems that typically missing songs are because they were removed from the app. However, I have songs that are disappearing from my playlists that are still available. For instance, Paris Paloma‘s labour, disappeared from my playlist, and it was still on Spotify when I searched for it. I could understand if the artist or Spotify remove the song, obviously you can’t listen to it, but songs are disappearing that are available. Is there any way to avoid this?
