2025.01.22 20:53 Intelligent_Ant5270 Potential outdoor water pipes freezing
Hi all! Appreciate any insight. I'm in the midst of a cold spike, my city reached subzero temps last night. Today, I have no running water anywhere in my house. Both of my neighbors do, no reported main breaks in my neighborhoods. NONE of my faucets are running, so I assume the freeze has to be near my main. I can see that I have PEX pipes going from my indoor water main, through my basement ceiling, to my hot water tank & basement slop sink. My basement is cold, but hard for me to imagine its freezing in my ceiling.
I have a space heater running right where the meter goes into my basement wall. My assumption is that these freeze is right there - but isn't all of this supposed to be below the freeze line? I was told by the water department to leave my meter on & open my faucets.
To make things worse, I am supposed to be going out of town tomorrow. Not sure if I should turn the indoor main off, get all water service stopped at the curb line, or what.
Any insight appreciated!

2025.01.22 20:53 rept7 [WSIB] I want to play something like a PvE MMO for the community, but with gameplay I find fun.
I love the idea of being able to log in to a virtual world with a character I made look how I wanted, exploring the land, and teaming up with other people to take on challenges and make new friends.
Unfortunately, I really don't like one thing I see in every MMO or MMO-lite I tried: Optimizing the fun out for efficiency. I don't want to stack with the party all the time, I don't want to do rotations, and I don't want to use some build off the internet. Instead, I want to be reactive to a situation and either utilize a great action combat system to survive, or be a great support that is actively keeping my party from not dying with smart decision making.
Anyone have any good suggestions?

What do you guys think of this car? Is it still reliable and does it still run good? Im looking for something comfortable but sporty. My price range is around 7k euro and i live in central europe. I want a manual, but they are so rare, I could only find a few so I cant really cherry pick from them, but there are lots with automatic tiptronic transmition. I dont know if i should just go with the automatic. If you have any experience or opinion please tell me.

In my sophomore year I proposed to a girl (only one who i proposed to in my entire life) who declined it. We continued to talk but from inside i liked her. Whenever she used to pass by she would stop and interject and comment on something; like my beard or hair or just how was I doing, what was I doing... Whenever such things happened My heart would start pounding like it would burst any second. this went almost for two years where we started to talk very less ie around once in a month or so. During those years i was almost in extreme depression and cut off with most of friends and families. it was in this duration that i lost my dogs. Now that I have almost got over it, just by coincidence we got enrolled in the same class. when i saw her my heart started pounding again. I could not bare it and have to take beta blockers to attend the class. She tries to initiate talks but i dont want to do anything. But it so happens that This girl has started to appear in my dreams and it is very annoying. For this reasons I am having nightmares where my heart would start pounding. I have been unable to sleep for the past two weeks for this reason. what should i do in this situation?
