Been severely depressed for the past couple of years due to the stress of job searching. I’m on medication now and have been for a few months, but I feel like there are cycles of suicidal ideation that I experience that are triggered every now and then.
For those who have been through this, what did you do to cope with the stress? And where are you now? Did it get better?

Ciao!!! Scrivo qui per sfogarmi sulla difficoltà di creare nuove amicizie e di trovare un’amicizia vera e duratura.
Da tempo penso che l’amicizia, da come l’ho sperimentata io, sia sopravvalutata: finora ho conosciuto solamente persone diverse da me, e per carità non sarebbe un male, ma sono “amici” - con cui, spesso, non riesco a condividere pensieri e passioni senza sentirmi fuori posto e giudicata - che, dopo varie dimostrazioni, so che non capiscono le mie abitudini, la mia attitudine, le mie preferenze, i miei atteggiamenti - con cui non riesco a fare una conversazione davvero profonda, che non hanno pensieri che mi arricchiscono… gente un po’ immatura, o semplicemente non la mia gente - che non so se vedo nel mio futuro.
Ho provato, essendo al primo anno di università, a conoscere nuove persone, ma il senso di insoddisfazione si è ripresentato: non c’è nessuno con cui sento davvero un’affinità. A questo punto mi chiedo: le persone si accontentano? Non sanno di cosa hanno bisogno/non hanno bisogno di molto e prendono ciò che capita? Fanno finta?
Forse il problema sono io, ma la gente che vale la pena conoscere mi sembra essere veramente poca e rara (e la cosa mi preoccupa: andando avanti, ma già adesso lo noto, fare amicizia sarà sempre più difficile…). Ovviamente mi riferisco all’amicizia ma parlo anche di amore (credo che il primo step, anche lì, sia l’amicizia, ma trovare un partner penso sia ancora più complicato haha).
Quindi: siete soddisfatti dei vostri amici? Pensate di aver trovato la vera amicizia? Credete si possa andare d’accordo pur essendo sostanzialmente diversi? Avete/avete avuto difficoltà, in generale che opinioni avete sul tema?

Hello, I came into a small amount of manganese blue genuine pigment from the 80’s. I’ve made lots of oil paint but have never been happy with the results. The texture is never quite how I want it. I really don’t want to waste this manganese blue and want to make sure what I grind is excellent and exactly how the pigment should behave. Does it require any stabilizers or wax? Anything specific I need to watch out for?

I have been trying to commission into the Army for a little less than 2 years now, and it looks like I will finally be able to commission in April. However, I’ve gotten a little older, and while my husband has been patient with me and my desire to serve, he would like for us to start trying shortly after OCS.
Ofc, in a perfect world I would like to get comfortable on the job (I’ll be joining as a JAG, but I’m sure I’d still need some on the job training), how badly would that look and be if I were to become pregnant shortly after getting to an installation?

BLUF: Who pays for a reserve component members entitlements? (specifically BAH)
So, Basically how do i sell this to the OPS CPT?
I am a National guardsmen, who currently lives in a higher COLA than the schoolhouse.
Schoolhouse bah w dep = 1500
my BAH = 4000
The schoolhouse tells me, i have to PCS; thats cool. I inform them of the (AR 637-1, Chapter 7-20) Secretarial BAH policy, and how i would like to get BAH from my HOR. They said they would have to talk to the S1, because well thats more money
as an added bonus, this new ALARACT came out (ALARACT 058/2024) That basically sums up to, IF SM gets secretarial BAH waiver, and cannot be in barracks, he will get HOR & PDS BAH ( it makes sense, because we are paying "rent" for 2 different locations)
So basically, as a schoolhouse, is this coming out of your pocket?

So i moved out from my apartment but when i was cleaning the room, i found black mold spot on one patch of tatami floor, that's on me, no doubt with that, the reason why it's there because i fill the room with foam floor to avoid damage to the whole room's tatami but the mold is there because i place a small fridge on that spot and the mold is there might be water seeping through the gap between the foam piece, and because i thought only the foam is enough so that happened, so i was worried because idk if the owner gonna charge me for only that patch or they'll gonna charge me to pay for the whole room replacement, so i hope someone can give me advice regard this situation. I live in Kobe.

Hey guys/gals/otherwise, how's everyone going? Great, I'm just going to assume great because I'm doing pretty great myself. So I have this simple question, just how far can you push the limits on what's considered contemporary?
Because right now I'm working on a short story. And I want to have certain parts of it take maybe like, 5 years in the future at most. And I really want to include a lot of these medical advancements we're seeing being developed in our world right now. Is it so unrealistic to say we could be growing and reattaching limbs to people's bodies in 5 years? Well, I don't think so! So I guess that's my question. Is with something like that, would that still be considered contemporary or does that automatically nix it from that category as soon as it ventures anywhere into the future?
PS: Please don't tell me "you can write your story your own way." That's not my point, what is my point is I WANT to write an explicitly contemporary story. I don't care what people think of my writing and stories or not. I just want to know people's opinions on what they think is contemporary or not.
