I’ve tried to get into federal work for the last 4 years after leaving the military. The first 3 of those years I had no luck at all. Found this page off a recommendation from a friend and tried everything that you all have recommended in posts/comments…my god what a difference it made!
I was getting referred to a ton and then finally got an interview. Got the offer for a budget analyst role (GS-11). Took the offer (you guys calls this a TJO I think). Started onboarding and got the rescinded letter 1 hour after my fingerprints appointment. BUT… one of you commented on another post saying not to quit your current job until you basically start your first day, and like usual I took your advice.
I was ready to put in my two weeks and whoever you are you saved me a world of pain and heartache. It’s a miserable experience losing the offer, but you guys are doing the lords work in here. Would have never got the chance if I didn’t follow all your recommendations. Appreciate you all!

The only examples I can come up with off the top of my head are the Iraqis calling the A-10 the Cross of Death and the Vietnamese calling the USS New Jersey the Black Dragon. The part that doesn’t make sense to me is how damn cool that makes your enemies sound. If you’re an Iraqi soldier and your buddy calls out that he sees a Cross of Death coming, doesn’t that scare the shit out of you even more than if he just said “A-10?” Wouldn’t they want to either give it no nickname or a nickname that makes it seem less terrifying?

Hey all, I am a newbie here so apologies for asking noob questions.
- I incorporated a business to do IT consulting work in 2022.
- I haven’t been able to find work so I have no income under the incorporation.
- I have filed annual return to keep the corporation name and status active.
- I have NOT filed the income tax return yet, as I had no income and I thought I do not have to since my income is $0 (nil), but I was wrong.
- Can I just fill a T2 short form and mail it to CRA or do I have to use a online software?
- Can I still claim deduction as I had costs like incorporating business fee, getting some supplies for business to be able to find work. It is unfortunate that I was not able to find work but can I still deduct expenses even with a NIL return?
- What forms do I need to fill with T2 for claiming the deductions.?

I was in the ER over the weekend due to very high blood pressure levels. In the discharge notes I noticed "hyperglycemia".
I then when to my patient portal for my oncologist and looked at my CMP tests going back over a year ago. Almost every Glucose reading is very high. My PCP claims he can't see my blood work from my oncologist. That's his excuse. I'm worried that I am diabetic. I'm disappointed that my oncologist never said anything to me about this. I've had some very high glucose readings, like 271 on a few occasions.
I just sent a message in the portal to my oncologist asking about this and I am in the process of getting a new primary care doctor.

Qual seria a melhor solução para a casa toda? Meter vários ar condicionados em que ficava com vários trambolhos na parte de fora, ou meter ventiloconvector pelas várias divisões?
Nunca tive os convectores não sei como funcionam e não faço ideia qual dos 2 seria melhor para climatizar, se há muita diferença em termos de gastos e preços de instalar.
Se alguém souber outras soluções sou todo ouvidos

I’m wanting to get into intermittent fasting but my question is about fasted cardio and protein. I’ve heard that the optimal time to intake protein is right after a workout. I workout very early like at 4-5am because I have to go to work by 6am. Does it really matter about getting protein in at the “optimal time” after your workout?
I also feel tired/sleepy after my early morning workout classes, is there something you guys do to get you to when it’s time to eat.
