2025.01.22 22:16 Sea-Tap7369 Why Am I So Hungover on This Cruise?
Does anyone know why I’m so violently hung over on this cruise and what I’m doing wrong? I feel bad, my poor sister has to deal with it, today.
I’ve never been on a cruise before but I’ve been on plenty of trips and to many resorts. I’ve drank large amounts on all of them with zero problems. I’ve even spent a week in Vegas and had the best time. I barely made it through my excursion today could barely move. I couldn’t even eat without throwing up.
What am I doing wrong? I’m obviously going to avoid drinking the rest of the cruise but I paid for the drink package… so it’s really crappy.

 | This is an exterior thick stone wall veiwing from the inside. The house has mold and mildew inside so we were starting by taking the drywall down. The stone is moist we believe from a failed roof which we are getting quotes on currently. We plan to insulate and finish with drywall. The stone gaps are large so I was thinking of using a lime mortor so if moisture is coming in it would have some self healing capabilities. Is repointing the inside for safe measure a good idea? How would you clean the stone to prep for that? How would you insulate a stone wall, theirs so much contridicting infortation out there saying you need to let stone beathe? I need to preface that before I continue, I have been cisgender my entire life. I’ve never and WILL never understand the struggle of being transgender. I also grew up in a heavily Christian household, therefore my mother is quite avert to any form of lgbtqia+.
I’m 17, a junior in High school. I started hanging out with this boy, and we went on our first date the other day. (prior to the date I knew he was trans, he didn’t lie or try to hide it whatsoever.) We talked a lot, went to the record store, walked around the art district in my area, and I had such a fun time. It was my first date ever and he made SURE it was memorable.
We had planned to go on another one today, but my mom found out that he was trans from looking up his cash-app username on reddit. She read through his posts, and I cant lie, it was entirely obvious it was him behind the posts. She told me to cancel on him, and that she’d be picking me up from school. (It’s about a 10-15 minute drive from my house to the school, so I had to go to class and wait before getting checked out.) I went to class, and I started crying. While I was getting up to get a tissue, he ran into me. So he knew I was upset, and I didn’t know what to do so I left to the bathroom and I shortly came back, he asked me what was wrong. In all honesty, I didn’t want to tell him right then and there. But I did anyway, we walked out into the hallway and talked about it. He gave me a hug, and we went back in.
He then left, and I worried about him. I felt so fucking awful that this happened, but I didn’t think lying to him was the best course of action in the moment. His friend came in, and I told him the situation. I couldn’t stop tearing up the entire time. The boy (I like) came back to get his things before he left, he got checked out. Not long after, my mom picked me up. We had a bullshit conversation about how “he’s actually a girl” and “it wouldn’t be any different than dating a girl”. I was sobbing the whole time, I genuinely like him so much but I don’t know what to do.
My mother told me that it was a sin to date a woman, even though he isn’t one. She made me feel like I was just confused, like he was tricking me or something. She also threatened to transfer me to a different school so I could never see him again. I’m confused on a few things, but I know for sure that I like him. Him being trans doesn’t make me feel any different about him than if he were cis.
So, I have a few questions about this situation. is it a sin to like a trans boy as a girl? And- what do I do? if it’s healthier for him to date someone he’s allowed to date, I’ll let him go. But I genuinely, and whole heartedly like this boy.

My order was wrong, again. I ordered 3 meals and 2 of them were wrong and incomplete. While I've been happy with the quality of the meals when they're right, this has become a regular problem that causes more problems than it's worth. Mainly because I keep having to go to the store to buy missing ingredients, just so I can eat meals I didn't select and sometimes can't eat.
I'd just like some reassurance here. Is this normal for HomeChef? Do I need to start looking for a new service that will send what I ordered? I'm now on the fence with cancelling and only because it's been great when my order is correct. It's just that correct orders are becoming exceedingly rare for me. Specifically, this is the 3rd time in the past 4 orders that it has happened to me.

I'm trying to help my mom get into her old phone so she can transfer the data to her new one. However, what we used before to get in is no longer working. The screen is busted, so it won't display anything, nor does the touch screen work. To get in last time, we used a funky dongle, my capture card, and a USB mouse. It took some finagling with notifications, but we got in.
NOW, however, it's just showing a gray screen with the time and a padlock. It isn't responding to the mouse, and we tried a keyboard as well but got nothing. I'm at my wit's end, and Google is of no help whatsoever.
