2025.01.22 23:06 Darrah6191 PC monitor going black for a few seconds then going back on.
I have been having an issue with my PC for a while now and it’s driving me crazy on what it could be. My monitor goes black for a few seconds and then turns on again. It’s extremely annoying and happens all the time.
It mainly happens when I am playing a game and I do anything that makes the game load e.g. loading screens, setting menus and sometimes just general gameplay.
I have found a few things that makes this stop:
- Restarting my PC once makes the problem go away until I power it off again.
- Changing a game from borderless to fullscreen mode fixes it sometimes.
- Changing to a different game sometimes.
Does anybody know what else I can do to prevent this from happening or what might be causing this?

2025.01.22 23:06 Sweet_Whisper123 Why so many people insist on hating Konohamaru instead of seeing the bigger picture?
With all the Konohamaru-hate posts it's clear that people dislike Konohamaru because he's not acting as Shikamaru demanded him to do, which was to make use of a woman's love and stab her in the back. Sure, people might think it is bad for him for not going for the easy win but can we please think of the bigger picture here instead of a mere win or lose?
There are many good reasons why the scenario happened this way:
- It showed that Konohamu isn't a heartless machine that just follow order. A good conscience and flaw will add depth to a character.
- It showed that deep down he follows Naruto's sense of justice instead of Shikamaru's cold blooded logic. Konohamaru is more Naruto-aligned.
- It was a good scene to show and justify KonoMoe's relationship because we haven't seen Konohamaru's perspective yet. This is especially true if Konohamaru and Moegi are planned as a couple in the future.
- It showed that Koji's prediction is subject to change and that this could be the example. If Konohamaru's parties derailed from Koji's exact prediction due to Konohamaru's 'situation' but still managed to win in the end then it'll show that the parties managed to defy fates and carve their own future.
- Sasuke also can't bring himself to kill Boruto when he had the logical reason and opportunity to do it despite he has promised Boruto that he'll do it so it's unfair to chew on Konohamaru because he also allowed his feeling to get in the way.
- Last but not least, from writing's perspective, Konohamaru's failing to kill Matsuri right away will actually benefit the readers in the long run as it created the right setting for their battle in future panels. If he killed Matsuri so easily people would just complain that it wasn't much of a fight that can show Konohamaru's full capability and that Matsuri wasn't a competent villain for dying so quickly. Not to mention with Matsuri's early death Konohamaru will just join the fight against Ryu and make the fight easier and reduce the level of threat and tension in their fight (it was already bad that they played the numbers game). With Konohamaru failing to kill Matsuri's in such a devious way, after he escaped her initial wrath, the real fight could begin where both parties can show the true extent of their powers.

Ed Bell repeats it so quickly after the local sheriff that it sounds like it’s a phrase that people know and use.
However, I’ve never heard of this phrase and I can’t find any information about it online. Does anyone know if this is an actual saying?

Often guys think they can get the desire for it out of their system by just “taking care of things” quickly and getting back to work.
This is an extension of a greater overarching idea, that one day they’ll grow out of it.
But unfortunately, this way of thinking is out of alignment with reality.
The truth is that using p**n can never get the desire for it out of your system, because the desire to use it is created and reinforced by using it.
And it’s not possible to relieve a craving for any meaningful length of time by doing more of the thing that’s causing the craving.
That just guarantees that in the near future, there will be more cravings.
Think about it like this:
Would a smoker be able to get rid of their cravings to smoke by smoking more?
No! Of course not. They’ll just continue having that compulsive desire to smoke.
But when they quit, eventually the cravings for cigarettes go away.
So, guess how you really get p**n out of your system?
The only way to win the game is not to play.
To step away from it completely.
Learn how to say “no,” defeat the cravings, refute your own faulty ways of thinking, and simply give your brain time and space away from p**n
That way your brain heals.
The neural pathways that were hooked on it weaken.
The desire for it naturally decreases as time goes on.
And eventually… it leaves your system almost entirely, by simply staying away.
