2025.01.23 04:16 ThrowRA_forever63836 My (37F) husband (43M) rarely pays for my food
We have been together for 13 years. Since the start of our relationship we each pay for our own groceries, coffees and meals out. He will occasionally pay if we go to a nice restaurant (1-2x a year max).
I’ve let him know in the past it bothers me. It’s embarrassing to me when we go to a coffee shop, fast food restaurant or the grocery store and have separate orders. I even said I would rather pay for both than have separate bills. But he thinks this is the fair way to do it. In past relationships I have been taken care of and never had to spend my own money. I’m not asking for that but it would be nice for him to occasionally buy my coffee.
Now I’m 6 weeks pregnant and today we went to McDonald’s. He ordered first and I felt really angry that he didn’t ask me what I wanted before paying for himself. I was only ordering a junior chicken which is like $3 and he had a meal with fries and a drink. Is this how it’s going to be forever? What’s going to happen when the baby is born? One order for dad, one for mom and split the kid’s?
I don’t know if I have a right to be angry since it’s been like this from the start but pregnancy has made me very emotional.

So, I have a lot of experience in music. Play a bunch of instruments, studied music at university, got an extensive list of credits, and gig somewhat regularly. I'm really not built to do anything else. Launched my website at the end of last year since I've been working as an entertainer pretty regularly for about three and a half years.
Almost immediately started getting booked, and have even gotten a few calls from way outside of my area. I got one from Washington DC just yesterday where the guy said, "Yeah, we're looking for live entertainment and somebody passed along your number." I live in Texas, and while I have performed in L.A., New York, and even got sponsored once to play in Japan, the fact that people are pushing for me is more humbling than I can express through words. Things have kicked off so much better than I ever thought possible and can't wait to see where this momentum takes me come next year.

So in 4th grade I started alter serving because it was the “cool thing” to do at our Catholic school. I was so shy I didn’t wanna be apart of it at all, but convinced myself because I wanted to fit in. There are many stories about alter serving I could say, but one of my faves was when I was probably 10 or 11 and this happened after the mass… Mass had just finished and I went back to what was called the sacristy to put away the serving robes I was wearing so I could sign out and gtfo out of there to my mom who was waiting outside. As I’m helping finish everything up, an older man who I recognized but didn’t know the name of came up to the other alter server and me. He made SURE to gather us. He had something important to say. I smiled as big as my 10 year old face could smile because I knew he was about to say what a good job I did, as if the alter servers were the main event. He gathers us with his hands, SMILES, and says
“alter servers.. that was THE…
WORST
Alter serving I have ever seen in my entire life.”
Then proceeded to criticize every single thing I did wrong. Obviously I was about to cry because this man came up to us with a huge crazy ass smile and then said this all in front of other adults and the priest. And our priest was so chill tbh. But this man really felt the need to go up to an 11 year old and make her feel like shit.
Naturally I ran and cried and told my mom.
Mind you all I ACTUALLY didn’t do was hold the book for the priest at one point. I asked my mom.

I absolutely hate it when school gets canceled during our weeks with SS10. We just got past the holidays and already we are missing days in a row for holiday and then two days for severe weather… so thats another long ass week with SS. Thankfully SO took two days off to be with us but still… I’m so drained. I just need the next two school days to happen so I can bare the weekend.

The second pic is the indoor track they have that I already race a modified 4tec 2.0. Nobody else at this track races the tt-02 chassis and after looking at the base construction of this, it seems it's designed to be an entry-level AWD chassis.
