2025.01.23 03:55 Logical-Razzmatazz17 Go to wireless mouse for gaming that has productivity benefits? Bonus if it's under 100$ but can be more.
I am looking to upgrade my build and am looking at getting a nice keyboard and a new mouse.
I prefer the mouse to be wireless due to my daughter some times getting a hold of it. (No wires means she only risks the mouse opposed to yanking on the port/tower)
I mainly use a controller for FPS games but would like to transition to mouse and key so would be nice if the mouse is also esport friendly.
However, I also work from home and would like something that benefits productivity.
As of now all I've ever used is a wired g502 (first mouse that I could change dpi and remap buttons
I am not too sure what I should be looking for at the moment, so appreciate any feedback.
I'd like it to be reliable too kind of like the g502 in that term. I've found that most people consider it the goat. My controller uses a corsair slipstream dangle but not sure how those are but could be a plus as it's software (icue) I already have installed.

Hello, I just started fostering about a month ago, and I've had my resident cat for about 3 months now. He isn't the friendliest to other cats, he's not super aggressive, but very defensive of his space, hissing and swatting if his bubble is breached. We're starting the introduction and it's going well, but we definitely have been taking our time. I was wondering if this process will be quicker and eaiser (on him and us) the longer we're fostering and having new cats in and out. It's just a bit nerve-wracking everytime we take another step, so I'm really hoping it'll get easier. š

 | Iām 21 F and I have pretty long thick hair (about mid back length). Within the past two weeks, every time I shower, a pretty big chunk of hair comes out. It starts out as little shedding strands here and there but once I shampoo, condition, and run my fingers through it, it comes out in big strands. 2025.01.23 03:55 Salt-Philosopher-863 Considering declining an interview offer. What should I do?
Hey friends. I need immediate feedback because I have a flight attendant interview in one day. Iām extremely nervous. I havenāt interviewed at a job in over four years. The job Iām at currently didnāt require an interview.
I have a lot of concerns with being a flight attendant. Makes you wonder why I applied in the first place. The applications opened up on my birthday and I saw it as a sign. My mom really wants me to become a flight attendant (she would love to use the flight benefits). She does not know that I have this interview tomorrow. Only one person knows, a friend.
My first concern is of course how Iāll do during the interview. Iāll be honest I did not study for this interview. Iām a college student and thatās been my main focus. Iām also a mail carrier so that takes a lot of my time. Props to you all that work, go to school and have kids lol. Time has gone by so fast, I canāt believe weāre already at the end of January.
My other concern is my weight. I weighed myself at 278 pounds this week. while I have weight blindness sometimes, I know Iām overweight. Iām crying internally that thereās a possibility that I wonāt be able to strap the jump seat seatbelt. I donāt want to be embarrassed.
Another concern of mine is the pay. I heard that flight attendants only get paid flight hours and a lot of the time theyāre on shift, itās free labor. As a rural male carrier, we do a lot of free labor as well. We donāt get paid by the hour, we get paid evaluation. It sucks, but Iāve been putting up with it for 2.5 years so thatās not a major concern of mine. Still bothersome though.
Another concern of mine is money. A ton of flight attendants have said that itās best to have some money saved up before becoming a flight attendant, because the checks will be low. Not to mention, the training pay for the airline Iāll be interviewing with is only $7.25. Insane. Speaking of training, Iāve since learned that even though you pass the interview stage, that doesnāt mean youāll get the job. You have to pass the training period which is 6-7 weeks. Understandable, but if you donāt pass it, what job will you go back to? You quit your job to do the flight attendant training.
Iām wondering if Iāll be able to pass the training with my weight. Iām being open and honest. I get tired quickly, and run out of breath from going up stairs. Itās embarrassing typing this because I didnāt grow up overweight. I did this to myself.
Iām considering emailing the airline, and declining the interview offer. I heard that Delta opens applications every six months, and I am open to applying again. I would want to spend the next couple of months getting in shape and saving some money. What do you all think? Would love to hear from some flight attendants. The airline my interview is for is Delta.
