Hi, I'm a fresh graduate and recently landed my first job as a Structural Engineer in a consultancy firm in another country. Throughout my university, I've learned about Eurocodes. However, in my company, we base on American Standards (ACI, AISC, etc.)
I would prefer to learn about american codes manually and not rely upon software analysis and calculations to have a better and deeper understanding of the principles.
Any advice on where to start? I've been searching for some useful youtube channels but most of them uses imperial units (we use metric units).

If you see a 600k bounty and do not wish to fight and are not wearing good gear i recommend dropping your loot and running away, I spoke to some of the players that are ranking in the top 10 and there farming upgrades for there base.
If you drop your loot and still get shot at then self destruct to prevent them from claiming your mech ( x ,lb ,rb at the same time ) this saves your magnus and stops them from having your mech ,
If your an association member and trying to hunt them, make sure your with a friend cause they will hunt you to drain you dry , and the player who is Jim, I feel sorry for you cause you are being targeted and the association friends notify the bountys if you appear on the map.

2025.01.23 05:48 3s1kill Apple SE 2 usb-C watch charger very slow
I got my wife an SE2 Apple watch for Xmasand everything was fine charging. Maybe a week later it would take hours to charge. I tried it in my AW 6th gen and same thing. Today it's been on the SE charger for 1hr and it's only up 6%. This is the charger with the usb-C end.
I've tried different charging blocks and outlets. Same issue.
We have been using my AW 6th gen charger to charge our watches and it works fine.
Any ideas?

I took Nassau Police exam ( January 5th 2024)! I got emailed November 2024 stating I got a 97. I also was informed that they are starting with people who got 103 and eventually will make their way to 90s. I’m currently in active duty service with US Army I don’t get out til December 2028. Do you think it’s possible that Nassau Police Department would hold my score/process until I get out of Army?

2025.01.23 05:48 LeftCulture8653 how do I stop worrying about my dog's death?
For the past two years, she's had a cough. But we're only going to take her to the vet for it now, I don't know why my dad waited this long. She's a 15 year old Chihuahua and I always worry about it happening. But over the past couple of days it's gotten worse.
Aside from the cough she has no other symptoms. I can't tell if her stomach is swollen as it would be if it were heart failure. And she won't let me look at her gums, that itself isn't worrying as I know she doesn't like having her face especially her mouth touched, but I can't tell if her gums are blue due to this.
We recently took my cat to the vet (just to get him updated on his shots so he can be groomed) but asked them what we should do about my dog's cough.
The vet said that although he can't really say anything for sure until I bring her in, his top concern would be congestive heart failure since she's an older Chihuahua.
I can't tell if I'm being paranoid or not, but also, her cough could be allergies. She doesn't technically have any symptoms except for a cough and it can't be kennel cough as she never comes into contact with other dogs, but it is totally possible for her to be allergic to my cat or something else. She does show possible symptoms for just allergies. The coughing, watery eyes (although it's never bad to the point where I've considered it a concern), dry skin/scratching (she doesn't have super dry skin but she does have some dandruff), and gastrointestinal issues (sort of? in the past couple of years I've noticed her farts smelling worse).
I got my cat around the time the coughing started but it only definitely started after she had surgery. She had a bad tooth that needed to be pulled but it spread to some of her other teeth, so she had to have several pulled. The reason the first tooth was never pulled was because her original owner never took her to get it pulled. I know that tooth/gum decay (or disease) can lead to heart conditions or failure, so that is definitely something to consider.
So, Sunday night, I had a sleepover with a friend. My dog was coughing worse than usual all evening/night. It's been pretty bad since Monday but has gotten better after my friend has left.
The reason I mention my friend is because this friend has a cat, dog, and chinchilla herself and wore clothes that haven't been washed in a while and/or are covered in chinchilla fudust and other pet haidandruff. She was also vaping the entire time she was at my house. (I have a vape but don't use it often. She vapes but doesn't have one, so if I have it, she'll use mine.) I figured that the smoke was partly making my dog's cough worse and asked if she could stop vaping as much in my room since my dog's cough was bad all night and she just said that the vape smoke wouldn't cause my dog's cough to worsen. Which is wrong. She said that the smoke is just water vapor and flavor which it is not, it's a nicotine vape, which she knows. So, idfk. But she said she'd blow in the opposite direction of my dog.
Anyways, so now I'm terrified my dog is going to die. I always have been. I genuinely can not handle if she dies. She is my best friend and one of the only reasons I'm alive. She was there for me when no one else was. She's the Scooby to my Shaggy.
I know this isn't healthy but I have untreated anxiety and I'm not in therapy. I am also worried about my cat dying but he's very young so I don't worry about it as much.

I'm looking to buy active speakers secondhand; I'm in middle TN. My budget is ~$500-700. I recognize for this amount of money it's difficult to get good speakers.
