Summary We’ve successfully deployed a hotfix hard fork (v2.0.2) at block 433000 to address a critical issue. The bug allowed transactions to spend outputs of different asset types (e.g., ZSD, ZRS, ZYS) as if they were another asset (e.g., ZEPH) with wallet code modifications. This loophole is now closed—ring members must strictly match on asset_type.
Huge thanks to the anonymous developer who discovered and helped us resolve this issue! 🙏
Impact
- 30 Transactions Identified: These included cross-asset ring members dating back to the v1.0.0 launch in September 2023.
- Morphed Assets: ZRS and ZSD were likely swapped 1:1 into ZEPH in these cases.
- Inflated ZEPH Supply: Approximately 95,000 ZSD was “morphed” into ZEPH in 10 transactions, with up to ~200,000 ZEPH in total inflation estimated.
- Total ZSD Supply: ~580,000 ZSD
- Yield Reserve: ~370,000 ZSD
- Circulation Outside Reserve: ~210,000 ZSD
redeem_stable process, affecting supply dynamics. For ZRS → ZEPH, fewer transactions occurred due to the smaller rate difference between assets.Is the Issue Fixed? Yes. As of v2.0.2 (HF7), mixed-asset rings are rejected at the consensus level. Any future attempts to exploit this will fail.
This issue is unrelated to the “range proofs” problem identified earlier, which remains under review.
Next Steps
- Ongoing Chain Audit: We’re working to quantify this exploit’s total impact alongside other potential vulnerabilities. This process has delayed our audit timeline, but we remain committed to thorough testing.
- Restoring Confidence: We sincerely apologize for this situation and are doing everything possible to ensure Zephyr Protocol is secure and robust moving forward.
- Miners & Pools: Update to v2.0.2 immediately.
- Desktop Node Users: Upgrade to v2.0.2 or wait for the upcoming audit release.

I’m currently in online school and needed to buy equipment to set up my workspace. Here’s what I’ve purchased so far: • Monitor: $800 (paid in cash to an individual, no receipt) • Printer: $500 (paid in cash to another individual, no receipt) • PC: $1,861 (paid with a card, I have the receipt) • Desk and Chair: $176 total (paid with a card, I have the receipt)
These items were all purchased to support my schoolwork, as I’m doing everything online and need the setup to complete my coursework. Unfortunately, I don’t have receipts for the monitor and printer since they were bought from private sellers with cash.
Can I claim the monitor and printer without receipts? And how much of this can I realistically write off? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I just got the 24 ultra and in testing out the camera I notice if you go to the gallery right after taking the photo you can see the image shift. Is there any way to turn this off? I rather have a lower quality real photo of something rather then a fake one.

So I'm new to SP. Had it for awhile (like before whispers) but never really care to play it. Started to play Rev, because I like running and gunning, and found Brozime's level cap revenant prime build for 2024. so I'm running mostly that. Plus I'm using the Torid Incarnon with corrosive/blast (yes I know the stereotype, but I'm having fun). The shards I'm using is two green shards for +2 to corrosive stacks for armor strip, two yellow tau forge for parkour velocity, and another yellow tau forge for casting speed. But then I remembered the Unairu has armor strip with caustic strike for the acolytes (I'm working on madurai atm, but still prefer unairu). So would it be better swap the two green for something else, like a tau green and a tau blue for energy? The build if fine on energy because of nourish, energy nexus, and dreamers. I just like to have a bit for extra energy, just in case. Also for strength, I have 298% with a rank three molt augmented (work on maxing it out) so I feel fine on that. So I don't want to put reds in the build, even if it's the best in slot.
