 | Andross is my favorite video game villain! I love his design, I love his VA, I love how intimidating and crazy he is, I love his attacks, I love his backstory and I love his final boss in SF64! I LOVE how he taunts you as you go through the branching paths of his base before reaching him, with the music, it creates an amazing intense atmosphere, and it perfectly builds up to him! I just love the atmosphere and background of this final fight, with him laughing in our face, his laughter is amazing and the music is super creepy! I also love when he tries to inhale you and inhales the debree, you can fire a smart bomb in there to stop him, and the way he reacts to it is amazing! The true hard path Andross is also pretty challenging too in both phases, he takes more hits in the first phase, and his true form, his brain and eyes, is pretty difficult, this battle requires you to have really good aim and control over your Arwing, and it's really fun imo, first you gotta shoot down his eyes, then you got shoot his weak point of his brain without running into his most powerful attack, his tendrils that does massive damage and break your wings! I also love how this final fight uses both gameplay style, On Rail Mode and All Range Mode! This final boss is true test of your skill from everything you learned in this game! The ending is amazing, Andross takes you down in his own explosion, destroying his entire base, only for Fox to be saved and lead out of the destruction by presumably the ghost of his father, and when Fox is free, and looked around for his dad, but then moved on, that was perfect. Hi, I'm F30. Last month I went to an audiologist after feeling hearing loss for the first time in my life. The condition turned more noticeable in 2023. During the Covid-19 I had the most serious ear infection I remember in my life. The ear that is more deaf rn is the one that was more infected back then. The point is, after going to the audiologist she told me based on the hearing test, that I have mixed hearing loss, she talked about the stapes bone and the other bones surrounding that area and the cochlear bone and nerve. She thinks all the damage is due to recurring ear infections in my life. She didn't want to tell me if I needed a hearing aid, she just proceeded to refer me to the ENT DR. Today I went to the appointment and I had the biggest deception, my appointment was of an endoscopy test of my ear and the Dr didn't do it. He just asked me a few questions, said the same thing the audiologist said and that was about it. He referred me to the otologist. Now I'm fearful because I don't want Doctors to be playing games with me and my health, and also with my money. I can't literally afford things I need and I'm not doing well economically where I work. Idk if I should just conclude that I'm partially deaf and go to Costco with my hearing test to see if I can even afford one of the hearing aids they sell, or if I should continue to pay and pay, and pay more for people who won't diagnose me the right way for the benefit of their pockets. What do you guys think?

Hey everyone, I have a question about transitioning cats from indoor to outdoor. I know the normal thing that people usually ask about is transitioning cats from outdoor to indoor, which obviously is better for the cats because of outdoor predators, weather, etc.
But here's my situation. I live in a rural area on about 2 acres and I'm surrounded by hundreds of other acres of rural land. There are cats all over the place.
About a year and a half ago this cat showed up with kittens and we fell in love with the kittens and took them inside. There were three of them and we still have them inside. Then the mom cat came back about 6 to 8 months later with another litter of kittens. But with this litter we had them outside and only two out of five survived. Then the mom cat returned again about 6 months later with another litter and I felt bad about what happened last time and took in three out of the five kittens that she brought to the house. Just to clarify, we did finally trap the mom cat and she's now fixed.
So right now we have seven cats in our house aged from about 6 months to about a year and a half old in total. But the problem is is our house is being absolutely destroyed by these cats. We love the cats and I care deeply about them. They all have personalities and nicknames to match.
They are our babies.... but we are really struggling with handling this many cats. We're emptying 7 litter boxes in the house morning and night. There's throw up all over the floor constantly, and we're getting all of our furniture and property beat up scratched up and destroyed. I'm making them sound horrible but they're just being cats so I understand that this comes with the territory... but seven cats is insane.
All of the cats are fixed. They all have their shots and they've been very well taken care of and I don't plan to stop that, but is it ethical or humane to consider moving these cats outdoors?
I feel guilty about it, but we also value our sanity over these cats at the end of the day. I would love to hear anybody's thoughts on this and a safe way to transition these cats from indoor to outdoor if at all possible. I don't want to burden a shelter or anyone else with more cats and I will continue to feed them, provide outdoor heated cat houses, etc. Please provide any insight thoughts opinions etc. Thank you!

2025.01.23 12:10 niceguyjock AITAH for being responsible for a group of girls getting kicked out of my school's pool area?
The truth is that I don't think I'm the asshole in this case, since I have the support of my entire school swim team, their parents and my coach, but I couldn't help but think that maybe I was. I mean, the "affected" people definitely see me as the asshole.
You see, I (16M) am on my school's swim team, which is a co-ed team and has members ranging in age from 13 to 18. Sure, our workouts are usually separated by gender and age, but we regularly do joint training, this because our coach likes to test us against each other so that we are not satisfied with just being good within our group (by "our group", I mean our gender and age group). Consequently, the members of the team are something like a family, with the older ones taking care of the younger ones and supporting each other when we need it.
Now, our training sessions are not behind closed doors, even though the pool we occupy is an indoor pool, and it is quite normal for team members to bring friends or family to watch them train from time to time. This is usually not a problem, since the swimmers' friends and family already know that we are training seriously, so they tend to be relatively quiet or on their phones.
Until now we had not had any major problems with spectators, but recently, a group of girls began attending each and every one of the men's team training sessions. At first we didn't give it any importance, since, as I said before, we are training seriously, without time to think about other things. However, not long ago, one of the boys overheard them talking about us and, since then, we have been feeling very uncomfortable with their presence. The comments they made were mostly sexual and focused on the size of our private parts or how we look in a swimsuit.
Something to keep in mind is that both the boys and girls on the team wear the type of swimsuits that a swimmer is expected to wear, speedos for the boys and somewhat tight one-piece suits for the girls.
The situation escalated to the point where, if the group of girls was present in the pool area, we boys refused to even leave the locker room, because, although we are used to going around in our swimsuits, It's a different thing when you know there are people looking at you lustfully. It makes us terribly uncomfortable. Consequently, and bored of wasting valuable training time, I, with the support of the other men on the team (and all the girls, who empathized with us and I will always be grateful for that), filed a formal complaint with the school management and we got the principal involved.
The principal not only removed the group of girls from the area at the training session we had right after speaking with her, but she also banned them from the pool area until further notice and called their parents to report what they were doing. They got into a lot of trouble.
The problem is that now, for some reason, they decided that it was all my fault and they have been bothering me about it, although they have not achieved much, since the swim team has been "protecting me" (especially one of the older girls on the team, who, being tall and athletic, intimidates them just by being around), and that has left me thinking. AITAH? Was I too harsh? Should I have just ignored them?
