I’ve always had herpes and was surprised I had 0 breakouts during pregnancy & first month but now, I’ve had two on my lips in the past two weeks and just when they healed - there’s another one that’s appearing.
I absolutely hate it. It gives me so much anxiety that I will pass it on to baby since I’m the main care taker & breastfeed exclusively - so I’m 100% of the time with the LO.
I’m keeping it covered with Compeed Herpes / Cold Sores patches, I’m not kissing baby anywhere and washing my hands as often as I can - as well as have rubbing alcohol around me just in case he touches me by mystake (even if just over the patch) or if I touch my face by mistake.
Still, this is horrible. I just wanted to rant. Of course, it’s giving me a shitty mood, as if it wasn’t already difficult enough taking care of a 6 week old!
Anyone else going through this? I’ve read the post with the dad kissing baby on top of head while having herpes - just gave me even more anxiety.

Seit einigen Jahren schon fällt mir auf, dass neben der Bahntrasse Steinhaufen oder Totholzhaufen errichtet werden. Meist im Zuge von Arbeiten an der Trasse. Es liegt nahe zu vermuten, dass es sich um Maßnahmen in Zusammenhang mit im weitesten Sinn Naturschutz zu tun hat. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass Habitate für Tiere, wie Insekten und Reptilien oder Amphibien etc. geschaffen werden sollen. Meine Frage ist nun, wo ich nähere Informationen dazu finden kann. Es scheint sich um ein großes Programm zu handeln, da mir dies schon an vielen Stellen aufgefallen Ist. Ich fahre hauptsächlich in Bayern. Aber auch in anderen Gegenden ist es mir aufgefallen.

As can be seen in the screenshot, you are no longer limited to 8 icons, you can have all 9 in an OCD 3x3 fashion. You can still of course have more and the 9th icon will then be replaced by the mini-icons that when pressed, open the folder. You can see example of all combinations now on my home screen.
Discovered this by accident.

I need some serious advice here. I am suffering mentally from all the uncertainty about my future, can't even sleep properly. I am a 3rd year medical student and will be giving my Step 1 at the end of this year. My friends are all preparing for NEET PG and I feel left behind.
USMLE is my Plan A. I know for a fact that I will do really well in step 1. I have that confidence in myself. but i constantly fear what if this plan doesn't work? what if I can't match into my desired residency after all the work (because I know that there's no guarantee of getting the desired residency even if one scores great in step 2. (especially, with all the recent developments going on in the US under Trump, it might become even more difficult for Indians to enter the US).
Plan B is NEET PG. But the competition is so tough I need to start preparing from now. I will be able to do great in NEET PG if start right now like my friends have. But if I divert too much attention into the clinical subjects right now, then I might compromise my step 1 prep.
Please tell me that if I do prepare extremely well for step 1 then that would translate to me doing well in NEET PG as well. as anyone ever achieved this?

exactly HOW MUCH does USMLE prep help in NEET PG?
how do I manage studying the clinical subjects in 3rd year and preparing for Step 1? (Someone please tell me how I should divide my 24 hours of the day!)
