2025.01.23 07:01 SkylerWolfVR Video out of range once Nvidia Drivers are installed
Hey all, recently trying Nobara here after using Fedora for a long time. I've been cursed with the train wreck that is Nvidia on Linux and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I recently switched to two new monitors after my old ones kicked the bucket. The old ones worked perfectly with the proprietary Nvidia driver installed. The new ones however show an error on screen saying "Out of Range!" For context I have a 3080-Ti and I'm trying to run the standard version of Nobara with their modified KDE environment. They work just fine when using the live USB and the initial setup before the driver is installed. But once it's installed they stop working. I can go into a TTY and pull up a config located in ~/.config/kwinoutputconfig.json but all the settings in there appear to be correct for the monitors. Any help or pointers would be appreciated.
I did install the GNOME version of Nobara with the proprietary Nvidia drivers so this pushes me to believe that this may be an issue with KDE? I'm not entirely sure.

Makita 40v XGT rebar tier shown at world of concrete. It felt similar in size and weight to the twintier from max and maybe a little faster because it only needs to make a single wrap with the bigger wire. Lighter and much better balanced compered to the 18v lxt.
Talked to some people there and it seems a tabless 8ah XGT battery is in the works and an 18v lxt brad nailer same style as the new framer.

i’ve been in a consistent clothe deficit since Christmas and i’ve been doing 10k step everyday, dumbbell workouts x3 a week and a couple of runs here and there. IF spuds like a lot but i’m making sure to listen to my body and push only when i can. i’ve been consistently losing weight about a pound or so every week and have only have 2 cheat days when i went out with friends. i weight myself this morning and i gained back 2 pounds? i can’t lie it making me very unmotivated and quite sad. I don’t know if i’m just overreacting and i’m faking muscle or if i’m just doing something wrong.

2025.01.23 07:00 GoalIndependent3515 Breakup happened, now what?
I broke up with my BPD gf over 7 months ago. After I was stalked, degraded, blackmailed, and absolutely torn to pieces by this woman post breakup, i still find myself struggling some days with the pain and mind fuck of it all. At the end of the relationship she had admitted that she put on a “show” when we first met, and “portrayed herself as someone she knew i’d fall for” which obviously worked.
Now 7 months post breakup It’s gotten easier to manage, but talking with new people or even attempting to go on dates is a struggle. I enjoy meeting new people and everything goes well…but it goes too well to the point i self sabotage thinking “is this truly someone being themselves, or am i seeing what she wants me to see”. It’s dumb, and i guess i just need more time, but it also hurts knowing i’m bringing new people in my life and pushing them away without even giving them a chance because of the trauma from a past relationship. I don’t mean to do it, I just still don’t trust my judgement of people. Just needed to vent…one day at a time right?

My boy turns 17 ina few months. He's vision's been completly impaired now since Dec 5th.
We took him to the eye care center, in hopes of cataract surgery. But his retina's have deterriorated and surgery was not recommended. Unfortunately, we thought the cataract was blocking his vision. but he's just blind.
We are willing to cope and assist in his disability, but he wont stop barking. If we aren't touching him, he will just stand there and bark. Sometime's he'll snap out of it and sniff around, walk back to his bed and start digging aggressively. Then freezes again and starts the barking.. If I cover him up with blankets and tuck him in, he seems to calm down. But the second I release my hand off him he barks, digs, then stands up and starts barking again.
Last few day's he's been thrashing when I pick him up and trying to climb up my chest to lick my face. I'm out of idea's on what to do, the vet gave us xanax. He'll sleep for an hour or two after giving him the meds, then he wakes up posessed and goes into rapid fire barking mode, nothing will calm him down.
