2025.01.23 09:43 Dance_Healthy Duel deck design tips?
This may break role 2, but I am mostly looking for tips! For Valentine's Day I want to build a duel deck for me and my boyfriend. I have barely any experience in deckbuilding and having the decks work against/with eachother will be quite a challenge. So I am looking for some tips on how to start and how to make it fun for the both of us.
Some context: My boyfriend only plays commander and after asking what he likes in a magic deck he said: "its either interaction/the ability to do politics. Or just slamming some haymakers." He also likes decks that are just for chaos, including a deck only build around dice rolls. I've seen him most excited about his colourless decks, but he says he likes all colour combinations except green/blue.
I myself am a terrible magic player, that hasn't played in a very long time. I liked to play green/blue, because it gives you very big creatures, which I did not like to lose because I get attached. But I also enjoyed playing mono-black, to create just hoards of creatures. (So basically, I tend to lose because I spend more time creating a zoo than actually playing magic)
I'm fine with creating some costum cards, maybe even just add some straight up sappy cards because valentines day.
Are there any tips on how to approach this? How do I balance decks and make them counter eachother properly? And mostly how do I make them fun?

2025.01.23 09:43 Objective-Expert8278 Why can't I sling res?!
I can not for the life of me consistently sling res. I've tried what feels like everything. Pressing both keys at the same time, Pressing space a millisecond before Rez, I've tried toggle ga and at this point it feels like a skill issue. I can do it on accident but when I purposely try or attempt sling maps I fail miserably. Please how do y'all do it so effortlessly? I'm high-key jealous.

2025.01.23 09:43 Internal_West_3833 Dogecoin: From Internet Joke to Billion-Dollar Movement
Dogecoin started as a joke, plain and simple. Created in 2013 by software engineers Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer, it was never meant to be taken seriously. Inspired by the popular "Doge" meme a Shiba Inu dog with comic sans text, it was just a fun way to poke fun at the hype surrounding cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. But fast forward to today, and Dogecoin has become much more than a meme; it’s a global movement.
At its core, Dogecoin is about community. From the beginning, it attracted people who loved its lighthearted approach and the idea of tipping others online as a way to spread kindness. Over time, the Dogecoin community started doing more than just tipping. They began funding real-world projects. They’ve raised money for charity, sponsored a NASCAR driver, and even helped send a satellite to space.
What makes Dogecoin unique isn’t just its origin story or its cheerful mascot; it’s the sense of fun and inclusivity that defines it. Unlike many other cryptocurrencies that are overly technical or serious, Dogecoin is approachable. It’s not trying to revolutionize finance, it’s just trying to make it a little more fun.
Of course, Dogecoin has had its share of critics. Some argue it’s not technically advanced or that it lacks the serious features of other blockchains. But its supporters argue that Dogecoin’s real value lies in its ability to bring people together. It’s a reminder that crypto doesn’t always have to be about complexity or competition, it can also be about community and having a good laugh.
And yes, jokes can be worth billions. Thanks to its loyal fanbase and high-profile supporters like Elon Musk, Dogecoin’s market value has soared, proving that even a playful idea can make a massive impact.
What do you think about Dogecoin’s rise to fame?
Is it just a passing trend, or does it have staying power in the world of crypto?
Share your thoughts. Do you see Dogecoin as a joke, a movement, or maybe a little of both?

2025.01.23 09:43 Ok_Negotiation_2587 My ChatGPT browser extension results so far: +7000 users, +$12K
For years, I was grinding as a full-stack dev, helping others build their dreams. But I kept asking myself: “What if I created something of my own?” So, I finally took the plunge, quit my job, and decided to go solo as an entrepreneur.
I won’t sugarcoat it—starting out was rough. I had no idea where to begin and didn’t make a cent for months. Honestly, I was lost. Then one day, I started looking into what was trending. Obviously, AI was everywhere, and ChatGPT was blowing up. I stumbled across the OpenAI community, where people kept asking for features that weren’t being built. That’s when the lightbulb went off: Why don’t I just make these features myself?
And that’s how my journey into browser extensions began. I focused on stuff people were asking for the most, like:
2025.01.23 09:43 Coder_bhoi How do you manage to get work done with too many "Important" meeting? Please help.
I am in a WITCH with 3 YOE and right now . My tech lead had assigned me to 3 projects (2 of them are deployed but there are some change requests here and there). Also, impressed by my work, my manager's manager asked my manager to put me in another project in another account which is a level 2 project (more complex development).
And my manager has told me to not tell the clients that I am working on multiple projects so obviously they expect me to deliver on time.
My issues are-
1.Too many meetings - I have to attend 4 offshore standup calls (2 for each account). 4 Scrum calls and some random meetings like sprint planning, review, retrospective. Also there are some random calls from colleagues asking for help or TL's call asking for status. It leaves me with no time to actually work on development.
2025.01.23 09:43 Efficient_Builder923 Ever feel like you're constantly learning but never applying it?
I used to soak up information like a sponge but never put any of it into action. It’s easy to fall into the trap of constant learning without real-world application. But here’s how I started using what I learned: 1. Start small: Apply just one new thing at a time. I use Notion to take notes and add action items for how to implement what I learned. 2. Teach others: Explaining what you’ve learned forces you to understand it better. I love sharing new knowledge with my team on Slack or in meetings. 3. Apply the 70-20-10 rule: I focus 70% of my time on learning by doing, 20% on learning from others, and 10% on formal education. This balance helps me apply my skills without getting stuck in theory. How do you make sure you’re not just learning but also applying your knowledge?

2025.01.23 09:43 Anjunabeats1 I had AFib for 7 hours yesterday and my Fitbit didn't notify me even once
I went straight to hospital in an ambulance and was hooked up to an ECG the whole time. I was diagnosed with AFib Tachycardia and watched my heart rate yoyo between 100-170 for 7 hours until they gave me drugs to make it stop. I lay still multiple times in this period trying to rest and take deep breaths. My Fitbit had absolutely no idea what was going on.
My HR on the hospital machines was hovering around 160 for hours and my Fitbit would say it was 80. It had no clue. My HR wasn't even close to 80 for hours.
Also when I got home I noticed my HR graph for the day had absolutely no record of even being so high. It had my max for the day at 120. It was 160+ for hours.
The "98.2% positive predictive value" is a fucking joke and Fitbit should be sued for false advertising.
