I was wondering anyone had any irl advice on buying a Do-er Up-er. Currently own a 2 bed flat with wife in Newcastle Area. Looking to up size and get a house with roughly 3 beds, probably terraced or semi detached 1930s onwards. We not a fan of new builds. But I was just wondering, (and I wholly appreciate it is circumstantial depending on how much work needs doing) let's say the carpets throughout the house need sorting. New kitchen, new bathroom etc. Got family members who are paintedecorators so got that side boxed off. Garden needs sorting out (but could probably do that myself). We've all seen these listings.
Anyone got any ball park figures?
