Going to keep this as straight forward as possible. My mk5 can’t decide if it’s in park or reverse. I’ve been able to by pass the gear lock and still drive it since I need to get to work but once I put it back into park the cpu fails to identify what gear it’s in. P N & D are easy to find but it can’t find reverse at times. Any recommendations? (No check engine light) (no slipping)

It's obvious. Based on their tactics on how they've been dominant over not only the film industry, but the entertainment industry for years.
I mainly want to bring this up because of this past holiday/Christmas season. Mainly with Sonic 3 & Mufasa, but also with Wicked & Moana 2 as well.
For Wicked & Moana 2, it hasn't been as big of a problem since the audience for those is divided. Wicked was mainly marketed to teens & adults as well as fans of the Broadway musical, while Moana had little marketing, but catered towards kids & families. And both movies were released on a fair number of premium formats like IMAX & Dolby.
Sonic 3 & Mufasa on the other hand, is a totally different story. Theaters have this contract with Disney so all of their blockbusters get the premium formats. Not to mention both movies aim for a similar family-friendly audience. And even though Sonic is doing better than Mufasa due to it's smaller budget & giving Sonic fans what they want, it's not able to gain screens due to Disney's monopoly over them & how afraid they are to let Mufasa flop.
It's not a new thing. It happened about over a year ago where Dune Part Two got delayed from October 2023 to March 2024. It's debatable wether or not it had to do with the strikes, but the real reason was to avoid competition with The Marvels. And even though that movie was rejected from casual audiences and was the MCU's biggest flop of all time, it still had the most screens.
It also happened almost a decade ago in 2015 when The Force Awakens was supposed to be playing in the Chinese theater for 2 weeks. And Disney bought their contract with Quinton Teretino to screen The Hateful Eight during that time so they can have more screenings of Star Wars.
See what I mean? Theaters have been overreliant on Disney for the longest time now. And less competition means less variety & innovation in the Hollywood film market. And to answer my question, what do you guys think about all of this & what is a sustainable solution to this problem?

I passed the PE Transportation Exam earlier this year and here's how I studied:
BEFORE THE EXAM

Schedule your PE Exam for 6 months out, that will give you plenty of time to study, test your skills, and prep for the exam.
Collect your references for the test. Most references can be found on Archive.org
Complete a practice exam, take note of the problems you don't know and need to study.
Compile your study topics and practice the problems you missed. If you miss a question again, then stop, research the problem, and find out how to solve the problem using the references on the test. Most practice exams have solutions in the back, that is a good place to start.
Continue this process, preferably studying in this method for at least one hour each day.

5.a. (realize that the exam is only a month away and you have NOT studied enough. Reschedule the exam back another 4 months or so to give you some more time. There is a fee for rescheduling, but it's small compared to the price of a 2nd exam.)
THE WEEK BEFORE THE EXAM

The week before the test, study "test taking strategies." These will help you take the test more confidently.

DURING THE EXAM

The first thing you need to do when you get to your PE Exam is to flag all of the questions you KNOW you can get done. Questions you feel confident about. At this time too, calculate how much time you should give yourself for the first half of the exam based on the number of questions that you see. I had 45 questions during my first half, but you could have anywhere between 30-50.
Go back, and complete all of the flagged questions.
Once those are done, start working on the unflagged questions. These questions are more difficult, but make sure you give each of them a chance. If you are really REALLY stuck, flag it and move on to the next.
Continue this process, working on more and more difficult problems as the exam goes on, keeping track of your time as you go.
Once you feel like you've exhausted your abilities, or you're not able to complete the remaining problems, mark them as "C" to make sure you're not leaving any blanks.
Take a break and move on to the next half of the test, repeating the process.

Left Hand: Pointer: CEO Middle: Overcoat Ring: Rumor Has It Pinky: Birthday Suit Thumb: Sandy Baby
Right Hand: Pointer: Sandy Bandy Middle: Internship Ring: Coffee Run Pinky: Prancer Thumb: Manor House
I think I’m still searching for my holy grail. Sandy Baby has always been my go-to and I think is still my favorite compared to all the others. I also surprisingly like Internship a lot. Not a huge fan of Overcoat or Rumor Has It at all. Coffee Run will never be worn again and weirdly makes my hands look dirty almost?

Yesterday, I went to the Orthopedic doctor. He said my achilles is already healing nicely. They also finally gave me a walking Air Cast with wedges in it to keep my heel elevated so that the achilles will continue to heel. I was so happy because the manual cast I had on was restricting so much blood flow into my foot. More importantly, I could finally have my foot planted on the floor.
But the big news was the doctor said he wants me to start trying to learn to walk with it! I'll start with two crutches, then one crutch, then no crutches. I will go back to visit them in 3 weeks for an assessment.
I'm literally building Hody and my leg in public! LOL

Hi folks!
Recently, read.cv announced that they would be shutting down in the coming weeks. I have my portfolio hosted there, and I wanted to migrate it to my Ghost account. However, I can’t seem to find a good free theme for UX/UI designers. Maybe I haven’t searched enough, but this is my first time using Ghost.
I came across the Braun theme and fell in love with it, but $90 feels a bit steep since I’m not making much money yet. For now, I’m using the London theme on a free plan, but it’s quite limiting in terms of customization options.
Do you know of any better themes for a UX/UI design portfolio?

Greetings, I currently have a very weird bug with my Tiny Lite 2 that once I start Obsbot center, I cant find the program window that opened. I see it in my taskbar but if I click on it or hover on it, it doesnt show me where the program window is. It only works once I unplug my 2nd monitor, then after opening it another time it shows on my main screen. She shook herself free of her reverie. She was, as she had so often been in the past days, sat at the edge of their campfire. Pebble was curled up beside her, sleeping on a folded blanket and twitching whenever she dreamed too excitedly. So many wold have taken the small fox as a bad omen, that she had set out to find a mythical beast and in its stead found such a tiny, soft little creature. But she couldn't bring herself to resent the little ball of fur; nothing to be scorned would be able to melt one's heart the way Pebble did.
She chuckled to herself, and scratched behind the fox's ears befre turning her attention back to the camp.
It was a clear day, as clear as any. A good day for hunting, a good day for tracking, and she hoped a good day for magical stories to be made. She checked over her bow and quiver again, testing the edge of one of the arrows and pulling the bow string back to check it was whole. She couldn't have it failing her mid-hunt, and she had time to repair is, should she need to. Their meal still cooked over the campfire, and they wouldn't be breaking camp to hunt until they had broken their fast.
But they would break camp today. For better or for worse, the woods would render unto them something.
She said a silent prayer to... something... that it would render a unicorn.

How busy are you guys around tea/dinner time (4-6pm)? My local is usually dead, except Thursdays as they do a quiz I’ve nipped into a different place tonight as my young lad has a club, 10 people in. I dunno anymore if that’s good or not. Unless of course you’re a city centre bar etc. Mainly for if your a scheme pub.

I know there's the obvious thing, being potentially decades removed from childhood and a fully grown adult, you're bound to not look 8 anymore.
But when I see pictures of myself as a child, I look at that boy and cannot imagine how that became me now. Aside from MAYBE the eyes, I don't think I'd be easily recognisable with a then Vs now.
I'm 31 now, healthy, reasonably low stress and I don't do anything in particular that would drastically alter my appearance in any way.
