2025.01.23 22:10 Jazzlike-Award-196 Two rounds of interviews and now asked for references. Odds of offer?
I have went through two rounds of interviews at a midsized firm and now received a phone call asking for my references. The HR person stated that “the team loved meeting with me” (5 partners) and that they need my references. However she did state that they have a few more interviews this week but I should hear back shortly. Is this a good or bad sign? Am I overthinking or what are my odds of getting this?
I really want this job and need to escape ID.

2025.01.23 22:10 Necessary-Silver-641 Audi A1 30 TFSI (74 plate) - Engine Cut Out
Hi there.
I own an Audi A1 30 TFSI 110 S-Line, 2024 (74 plate)
The car has had issues since collection - two of the same issues, for the entire 4 months of ownership. See both issues below:
- Engine has cut out completely, multiple times. Whilst driving at 30/40mph the engine just cuts out. The car then has to be restarted
- MMI freezes all the time. Regularly when you get into the car, the MMI will be frozen on a loading screen. This often happens for days/weeks on end
It has been in and out of Audi and we've barely got anywhere.
Audi said they found the issue and said it was all linked through the MMI system. Saying the SOS also links to this MMI system, which could cause the engine to cut out.
The entire MMI system was replaced from a donor car, but the issues have still happened again since...
Has anyone else had similar issues, as we seem to be getting nowhere?!

 | I am a 30 year old female, I’m currently on the antidepressant Paxil. I smoke cigarettes and I am a bit overweight. I am riddled with acne? Or at least I assume this is acne. I used to use sun beds a lot but quit that a while ago. I’ve tried many different types of skin care regimens and nothing and I mean nothing has worked to take care of the persistent acne I have. My skin is oily and my pores are large. Is this even acne? If it is acne is there something I should be doing different? I never had acne until I hit 25 years old. I want my skin back. I’ve been looking for work for months, haven’t heard back from Unemployment, and my partners work is being effected by the fires.
We still haven’t been able to pay rent for January and February is due as well in a week. I have been living in this house for 10 years and now I’m worried I might be evicted.
Are there any resources that can help in the meantime time? I have no money, no bank account I am already on the CARE act for my utilities and I have applied for food stamps but I won’t hear back until unemployment is figured out

Okay, so basically I live in the midwest, and I use this old plastic tote as my compost bin (not sure if this matters, but it might lol). Over the week, the temperature has been dipping into the negatives, and when I checked my compost, it wasn't frozen solid, but it's very cold, and even certain bits have a layer of frost. Do you guys have any tips for making my compost hot or at least warm again?

in may, i graduated with my BA in psychology and was thinking about grad school, but decided to take a year off, work, and explore career options.
i recently discovered the profession of psych nursing and am now thinking about going back to school for nursing instead of grad school for counseling. i just wanted to hop on here and see if anyone else has had these same thoughts concerning their career & pausing grad school so i don't feel so alone at the moment lol.

I made a post this morning feeling down about have more than a few drinks last night after sobriety for a month, and that’s when my hangover was bad. After giving it a few hours of rest and reflection, I’ve determined that this shit just makes me depressed and anxious, and definitely sick in the morning when I can’t handle myself. I’m blessed to have gotten this revelation and I won’t let it hold me back from trying again and doing my best.

I've been using the Logitech G933 for a long time and they are starting to lose sound in one side, don't hold a charge very long and I hear a piece rattling around in one of the ears, so it's time to get a new set of headphones. I have been happy with the 933's overall, and I like the soft over the ear style of them, so that's important. While price is not really an issue, I'm no audiophile so I probably don't need the most expensive set. These would really only be used for gaming and general PC use. Definitely want wireless. Should I just go with the G935? They seem pretty similar to the 933s. I do have a Logitech keyboard and mouse, so maybe it makes sense to stick with Logitech?
Do you have any suggestions or recommendations? I probably could manage to replace my keyboard also (old G910) if that makes a difference.
