If I take bereavement leave, is it illegal for people at work to start disclosing why I’m taking bereavement. General chitchat in the hallway did you hear his mom died? An email saying staff, as you know Homer bar Bob’s mom died, we’re doing a Postmates card if anybody wants to contribute. We also have a card upfront if you wanna sign it. He doesn’t wanna talk about it so don’t talk about him with it.
Is that legal?
The secretary has approached people in the break room asking who died and what dates they are going to take for bereavement in front of everyone.
You have to submit the name of the person who died to personnel who obtained it from the secretary so that you can’t say that your mom died 10 times. But it just seems weird that you come into the break room and ask somebody what day are you taking off for your father‘s funeral.
You can’t disclose other people‘s medical information at work. Is there something similar if it’s not medically related to you

I’m based in NSW Australia and have been getting Ocrevus treatments for the past four years. I go to a private hospital for the treatment and have private health insurance and usually pay $250 as the gap. The last two times (August last year and today), however, I was charged $500 “self-funded” and when calling my health insurance today they’ve said they don’t cover this item number and that no health insurance covers it because it’s a Medicare cost so the $500 is the gap from Medicare. Has anyone else experienced something similar or recently found a difference in prices in the last year or so?

My current longest fast is 92 hours. I wanted to try a 110 and I was doing really really well. Then at hour 93 I started having symptoms of hypoglycemia. I checked my blood sugar and it was 51 mg/dl.
I don't think I'm ever going to get past 100 hours...

2025.01.23 23:03 TheLiverBird23 Just had 9/10 sharp pain in knee whilst coming up from a high perch squat. Lasted 2 seconds. 14 days ago I wasn’t doing any compound exercises on my right knee and had bad muscle weakness. Done some every other day since. Step ups, high squats, mini single leg squats.
Could this be an overuse pain? Had MCL injury 3 months ago. Which is recovered. Was only doing non weight bearing or easier exercises for about 4 weeks before this. Anything else was undiagnosed but has been physically checked.

As soon as I found out the inevitable end of this wonderful game that I've stuck with for years was ending I was trying my hardest to get to the highest level possible but alas it is not to be, from previous screenshots I think I started trying to complete this on level 742 and now with one day left I have come to the level 880 and I think that's ok, it's time to say goodbye to my old friend The Simpsons Tapped Out and that is ok, and no I will not be backing up my account with the discord server as I'd rather not have the mouse company come after my ass for being part of that. I need advice on the best Custom PC specifically for AI image and video generation (mostly video).
I'm hoping to run some other LLMs and TTS on the system as well, but mostly it’s for ComfyUI utilizing Hunyuan, CogVideoX, Flux, etc. as I work in video production and do it mostly for that.
Right now, my build is:
CASE: 900D Corsair RAM: 64GB (4 x 16GB) G.Skill Ripjaws PSU: HX1050 Corsair MOBO: Asus Z390 WS Pro CPU: i9-990K Intel GPU: 3080 RTX (10GB) Asus TUF DRIVE: 1 NVMe Samsung EVO x 2 (OS and Cache) and 24TB (Raid-0 Media) Samsung EVO OS: Win 10 Pro
I currently have a debt owed to me of $2,500 (which I will be using to purchase the 5090 RTX) and I can possibly throw another $1,500-$2,500 at a new system. A total of $5,000
I was considering just buying the 5090 RTX and letting it ride… but I’m wondering if my system would be too bottlenecked and I’d HAVE TO upgrade. If so, what would you advise? (or can I just run the 5090 with the specs I have because I’d prefer that). Here’s what I’ve been considering:
