Looking for recommendations for a long sleeve warm weather shirt, similar to the 5.11 rapid. My department recently started allowing tattoos on the arms, but they must be covered by long sleeves. We currently wear outer carriers. Most guys wear the 5.11 rapid stryke long sleeve, but I'm trying to find something more lightweight and breathable that still acts as a long sleeve uniform shirt. I found that Vertx has the fusion flex hybrid, and Blauer offers some options, but I don't know if they're any better than what 5.11 currently offers

2025.01.24 03:04 Substantial-Fun-8573 Do antidepressants work or is there a better alternative?
I seen a psychiatrist who stated in the beginning of the appointment that she doesn’t prescribe meds for the first few sessions that she typically recommends lifestyle changes and has her patients try that first. Well at the end of our first session she prescribed me antidepressants. Zoloft to be exact. I haven’t taken them and she tried pressuring me into taking them so I haven’t seen her in the past 2 months. I have continued to see my therapist and we are supposed to start EMDR but she told me today that she thinks I need to see a psychiatrist and get on antidepressants before doing EMDR. I don’t like taking medication. I always get side effects. I’m so sensitive to meds and it’s just an absolute last resort for me. I meditate, journal, do breath work and I’m in trauma group therapy and I see a therapist. I’m constantly working on my mental health. I have complex PTSD. I want to get rid of the PTSD altogether and the meds just feel like a band aid to me rather than a cure. I heard psychedelics can cure PTSD and I have been waiting to do psychedelics. I had surgery and I have been recovering so that’s being postponed at the moment. Anyway what is everyone’s experience with antidepressants? Do you stay on them for the rest of your life? Has anyone tried psychedelics as an alternative and if so what was your experience with that for your mental health?

Not sure if this is a thing and my googling hasn’t been fruitful, I just want something to leave a ball lock disconnect open that’s ideally cheaper than a post. I have a piece of tubing with a liquid disconnect on each side for transfers that I’d like to be able to clean without having to have two kegs available. Just like a plastic insert that will hold it open is all I want.

2025.01.24 03:04 taurassill How should I introduce 4 friends to Magic?
Tomorrow I'm bringing 4 friends of mine to my LGS. Just one of them knows how to play, and he already owns 2 commander decks.
Here's the problem: what format should we play? I imagine my options are: 1) Commander I have 3 lower power decks that could match my friend's other 2 decks. But I think this can be a little overwhelming to the other 3 players. That's just too much to keep track of in a 5 person commander, the power level isn't that balanced and the deck's mechanics aren't that simple. My fear is that they get lost and the fun is ruined.
2) Kitchen table magic I can put together five decks with very focused goals and very balanced to each other, using cards from my bulk. They'll probably be like 40 card decks because I don't have that many bulk to make five good and balanced 60-100 card decks. This how I've introduced some friends in the past, but it was always 1x1. How should I manage a 5 people play night? 1x1 tournament is a possibility, but I think they'll like more a 5 people free-fo-all approach. But my fear is that the game become too sluggish and stagnated due to relatively low power level, and the fun is ruined.
What should I do? Is there another way out I'm not seeing?

 | I’ve added some new plants (mostly orchids and aroids), gotten rid of some plants, put some things on Rousseau moss poles, rearranged some shelves, and moved the shelves since I last posted about my college collection. I’m very proud of all of these plants and they really help keep me going and give me a peaceful spot to be when I’m stressed. Just curious on others experience's as I'm sure I'm not alone here.
Lil mini summery; *edit: long summery of me haha. Not necessary to read I guess 🤷🏻
I've been microdosing psyilocybin mushrooms (and at time LSD-25 5-10ug/mcg, but 95% of the time it's 🍄) 0.1-0.2g (100-200mg) 2-4 days in a row a week for many years, with the odd few weeks or months off.
With that, I've added in other mushrooms aswell over the years at times. Mainly lions main mushroom and/or turkey tail mushroom extract powder, or a blended product of 5-8 kinds (mostly a waste 90% of the time unless mega dosing I know I know lol)
And as I'm sure most of you are aware, 95% of the mushroom supplements market is bs and/or over hyped bs unfortunately.. crazy how bad it is when you dig deeper and deeper..
Then there's potency... Even for the "good" companies/products like freshcap, the cordyceps is like 3% cordycepin.. and that's much better than most of the market to top it off.. yet the CCCE has about 9% and is a blend. On its own it's like 13% or something cordycepin. ( I do add lil freshcap turkey tail mushroom extract powder to my kittys food, but her main source of anticancer help is the PSP Oriveda. I'm not hating on freshcap, just there near top for quality, yet that's still pretty poor imo re potencies etc I guess is my point)
Anyways, all this to say; I bit bullet and paid the extra for the best mushroom supplements I could get after alot of research and kitty having cancer surgery (full chain mastectomy) couple yrs ago.. and I'm pretty happy with the CCCE, and as added to my microdosing magic mushrooms.
Curious on others experience's , or maybe my post may help someone 🤷🏻.
