2025.01.24 01:48 ayezeure I need help upgrading my pc (for elden ring and other AAA games)
So I got a pc back in early 2023, so far I've had very minimal issues (which is probably just a result of me being ass at taking care of it) so I don't think I need a MAJOR upgrade. Although the purpose of upgrading would be to run elden ring pretty well. I can spend about 20kPHP (around 300-350 USD). Right now I'm thinking of upgrading my gpu, but I still don't know what would be compatible for my current build. Please help TY!

So, premise that my only intention is to get the trophy on psn, i need to get on platinum rating and I'm struggling a lot in the last few days, to get CN to 99 I used the exploit where you drive with pit limiter around Brands Hatch for a few laps and it worked and with it even the CC went to 99. The problems started where I needed to get my SA up as it was the only low rating, I started to farm it and even if it takes long time it goes up (now I'm at 70), but the CN and CC inevitably went down as for rising the sa i Need to drive close to another car, but I noticed that even if I try to get the CN and CC up again they just don't and as I did over the time I noticed that the max level I got was everytime lower as I got my SA up. Now even if I try to use that exploit to rise CN and CC they're just stuck and the main reason I use this exploit is that I play on controller and rising them normally is just impossible (I even tried and even if I got "very good" or "fine" it was still stuck)
Help is very appropriated as I would really love to see the platinum trophy on my psn

Hey all (hey all)! Still working on my little fanfic idea, and I’ve gotten a TON done! But there are still factors I’m not completely sure about. So I’m here to discuss them with you all. First of all: the Phantom Ruby copies. I already have a few in. Metal Sonic, Chaos, Biolizard, and MAYBE Shadow. I’m unsure with the last one. I removed Zavok because several people didn’t want him (nor did I). I’m just not sure who would be good for say, Silver and Blaze, especially as an endboss for their parts of the story. Who would YOU like to see? Next up: the Avatar. I have no idea how to do the custom character and truthfully don’t want to. Would the story still work fine if they just weren’t there?

As I think most people know by now, and if you didn't, you will now, The Lion King is based on William Shakespeare's Hamlet and The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride is based on Romeo & Juliet. The Lion King is supposed also loosely based on another Shakespeare play, but I don't recall what play that is. SO did anyone watch Mufasa: The Lion King and notice any connections to any other Shakespeare Play or is Mufasa not based on shakespeare like the others?

2025.01.24 01:48 ShoulderVivid3476 Should I pursue a MSc in Engineering at my current university after undergraduate, or should I head straight into industry?
Currently a 1st year Mechanical Engineering student from a UK based and accredited system.
I'm not even doing engineering out of earning buttloads of money or for passion, I simply happened to be better at STEM subjects and I'm doing this for better job security more than anything. No particular interests or specializations either.
My original intention was to go straight into industry to gain some experience and start earning for myself, but I'd (probably) eventually want to go back and pursue my Masters to ultimately get myself certified, and I've heard people having challenges with doing a Masters while working full-time, even if it's from a work-stipend, while people who do it straight after undergraduate, even with student debt, claim that it has greatly impacted their career and earning potential.
I don't want to rush into my career and go into even more unnecessary debt, but the promise of pursuing a Masters immediately after undergrad seems tempting.
My current resume is unimpressive, but I'm hoping to maintain a relatively good GPA (>3.6), with a few engineering based projects from a projects-oriented society at my university, as well as some relevant work experience.
