2025.01.24 01:42 Slow-Equivalent5164 Novation Bass Station II or Roland TB-3?
I'm looking for opinions on which of these would be better, given my use case. I'm looking to add a bass synth to my setup and these 2 came at the top of the list. For my use, I'll be utilizing it with a Roland TR-6s and a Korg Minilogue XD, and wish to synchronize the sequencers between all three. I'll mainly be doing live performance, but will occasionally be sending everything into my DAW for recording. I'm looking to do 303 acid-type sounds, as well as some deep and thumpy bass lines. Right now, I'm leaning toward the BSII, but the TB-3 seems to get a lot of love too. The most important things to me are the sound, ease of performing on the fly, and the sync between the units.

I installed steps on my in-laws 1993 Cruiser to help them keep driving it as they both turn 84. The passenger side had a shield attached to the rocker panel which I assumed was a heat shield for the catalytic converter. They deleted it years ago when they had some work done to the exhaust. I may have assumed wrong. Does anyone know if that shield was for sound reduction, heat or both? They are complaining that the exhaust is significantly louder since I installed the step. I inspected it for any leaks and found none. It sounds the same to me when I am outside the vehicle but definitely louder inside when driving. Thanks in advance for any advice.

So I’m in a bit of a pickle right now between the r7 and r8 as an upgrade from the t7 that can last me a good amount of time before i get bored of it. I know the canon r7 is APS-C while as the r8 is full frame, i do a-lot of moving subjects but also night time shots. My main focus tho is moving cars and i cannot figure out which would be more appropriate for what i am wanting. I am also open to lens’s recommendations for walking around and sharp photos, I am planning to get a ef to rf adapter but not sure how that would work on a full frame camera.

I had to touch up the Baal Red with Evil Sunz Scarlet because my black was a bit messy. Should I put some Baal Red over the Evil Sunz Scarlet spots before applying shades? Or is it alright like this?
I should have bought and used Mephiston Red in hindsight (for the touch ups, Baal Red is still really cool to apply as a basecoat).
