I was on the train when I started smelling something burning next to me. I looked over and saw this guy hunched over his blow torch lighting up some pipe. I told him not to smoke next to me and immediately got up and moved cars. At the next stop I saw workers standing on the platform so I popped out and informed them of what was going on in the car over. Other crackheads standing around overheard this and stepped onto my car to call me a snitch and say they don’t like snitches. Fuck you worthless disrespectful undeserving of life drug addict tweakers. You can’t even wait 5 minutes to get off the train away from innocent bystanders to smoke your loser drugs. And you all seem to have each others backs enabling this dangerous behavior. I feel unwell, buzzed, and am experiencing cold sweats now from having to breathe that shit in. I hope all these losers OD and delete their pathetic existences already

I have to use a pencil at work, and of course mechanical pencils save alot of time. But because I'm a lefty I can't help but smear my writing with the side of my hand as I get further down the page. My Shark air purifier fell over and when it is turned on it makes a rattling sound. I'm guessing a piece of plastic broke off inside and is making the noise. Does anyone know of anyway to take it apart to inspect it?
I don't know if this is the right subreddit for questions about repair, but I'm guessing the warranty is probably void now and I don't want to purchase another one when this is less than a year old.

I’m currently contributing 14% to an employer matched 401k. The employer match is 50% up to 6%. Instead of doing the full 14% to the 401k should I be contributing let’s say 8 of that 14% to a Roth IRA?
My thoughts are that I would continue to do at least 6% to the 401k to get the full employer match. Since the Roth IRA would be after tax, I probably couldn’t afford to do another 8% on top to the Roth, but might be able to do something closer to 5/6%.
My question is which approach is better, full investment in 401k or some into an IRA and why? Is the Roth approach better even if I had to take the total contribution down to 10% vs 14%?
