2025.01.24 03:22 hoplitexx No idea what’s happening to my floor
Our of nowhere our flooring started to look like it was taking several water damage.
Except there hasn’t been any. It’s not appearing directly in front of our sink, fridge, or dish washer.
Had a plumber look at it to see if he could tell me if I had some pipe problems and he had zero idea what’s going on.
This seems like a clear cut case of water damage, but I have zero idea what’s from.
Thoughts?

I have had these PVCs for years, with a frequency of maybe 3 to 5 a day. Approximately a week and a half ago, they’ve increased significantly in frequency. I’m logging them, myself leading up to a work-up and I’m experiencing anywhere between 30-50 that I personally observe.
I have had a very stressful past couple of months, and my question is this — Can a bad stretch of high anxiety trigger persistent, chronic PVCs?

I'm curious, how have you differentiated between loving romantic feelings and just getting caught up in the intimacy of a FWB?
I've been seeing this guy for a few months now and we have amazing chemistry in bed (great sex, even better cuddling) and also have a lot of fun the occasional times we go out to dinner or drinks.
While we have talked about past relationships and family and stuff, I can't say I know much about his values or his hobbies (he is retired so I really have no idea how he spends his days).

I think a lot of the time we "inherit" our political beliefs from our parents. You are raised a certain way and get a lot of influence from them and that often includes political views. So my question is, if you come from a liberal family, did you ever think like them? What changed? How do your "discussions" or debates go? Are they disappointed?
In my case, my parents are conservative, but my sister became a liberal so they don't even discuss politics with her anymore. Wondering if there are other similar things but reversed.

Hi, I was just wondering if I would still have a decent chance of being admitted to the Bachelor of Commerce majoring in management at UOA. I haven’t taken subjects like business, economics, etc. I’ve done english, statistics, geography, history, and health. When I chose my subjects, I wanted to work in psychology as a future career, however now I’ve thought again about what I would like to do and I think I would like to work in HR. I plan on doing Bcom majoring in management before moving onto a Mcom majoring in Human Resource Management. Could I still get in to the BCom though?

Eu sou um homen de 19 anos, e a um ano estou apaixonado pelo meu amigo, somos amigos dês de 2023, já naquela época eu gostava dele, mas tinha dúvidas sobre o que ele iria pensar disso pois eu pensava que ele era hétero.
As coisas foram andando saíamos juntos e fazíamos coisas que amigos fazem, nesse meio tempo eu comecei a evitar ter pensamentos românticos por ele, mas não consegui, e as coisas foram indo assim por todo o 2024, ele me falava de uma garota que ele gostava da aula dele e eu comecei a pensar que seria realmente impossível ele gostar de min, ao menos da mesma forma que eu gostava dele.
Até que mais para o final do ano passado eu comecei a ter dúvidas sobre se ele realmente não gostava de min, ele faz piadas sobre nós ficando, não com tanta frequência, mas ele faz, e tem um detalhe, ele sabe que eu sou bi, no final do ano passado aconteceu uma situação no mínimo inusitada que me deixou pensando sobre ele, era o último dia de aula e nós estávamos voltando juntos, começou chover e eu perguntei para ele se eu poderia ir junto dele, eu estava levando na brincadeira, então eu abri meu guarda chuva, quando eu escutei ele falando baixinho "vem comigo", na hora eu fiquei sem acreditar, no início do ano aconteceu uma coisa que eu não tinha prestado atenção, eu estava falando na secretaria sobre uma transferência para o EJA, e ele me viu lá, ele me perguntou o que eu estava fazendo e eu contei para ele, e ele também iria fazer, mas eu não tinha parado para pensar que ele tinha realmente considerado fazer o EJA, que é de noite e ainda que ele iria abandonar a aula que estava a garota que ele supostamente gostava.
Tem mais coisas que aconteceram entre nós nesse meio tempo, se quiseram saber e isso ajudar a esclarecer a situação é só pedir para eu falar!

2025.01.24 03:22 Aj100rise Can a student go college once they graduate high school?
My brother who is in ESE class is in 11th grade, recently the school had a basic meeting for the IEP. Now they were mentioning he has the option to go vocational school that does hands on training for career jobs. They also said he will get deferred high school diploma now i don't know exactly what this means. His current gpa is 3.67 and is on track for graduation next year. He is in a special class with only few students maybe 10-12 kids and 3 teachers or staff. He gets speech and language therapy in school too and adapt PE. So during the meeting, the teachers said he will be good fit for working a job in retail (grocery store) and I just don't like that idea honestly. My brother is disabled because of his premature surgery growing up. He is not able to bend in full range of motion and he lacks social skills. Even teachers have told me multiple times over the years, that we are working on building social skills. He always needs encouragement and self advocating but I think due to shyness or insecurities. He is having difficulty. My mom doesn't speak English and she is just genuinely worried about his future. She also doesn't like the idea of him working in grocery store. Like she preferred something like working on a computer or office job. Not physical labor job.

hii my mom went to middle school in fountain valley california in the late 1980s. she remembered at lunch she would love buying these individually packaged donuts. it was a single, rectangular donut, she said it was chocolate chip flavor. she also said she vaguely remembers a clear packaging with possible blue or black writing. please help!! ive spent an hour looking.
