I keep seeing people post about role queue wouldn't work, and they seem to just think the way overwatch has done it is the ONLY way it can be done, I propose a more flexible solution.
- Role queue where you select 1,2 or 3 roles you want to play in order of preference, allowing you to just select one role if you prefer.
- Select roles and order are visible in the prelobby so you can see who prefers what role so you don't need to waste time asking who can tank, you already know who can tank etc.
- Throw in some weighting with matchmaking so no teams get stuck with more than 3 single same role players, so no more than 3 support only players.
- Similar to leagues system so if you have 4 people in a group you can't all lock in dps only, needs a varied range of roles.
- Full 6 stack as always would allow you to play whatever you want.

2025.01.24 05:56 fakepseudophile PVC snapped off stuck in 3 way thing
 | Upon investigating some loose water, I discovered that the drain pipe for the right side of my sink was detached at the vertical end of a 90° coupler (not sure if I'm using the right lingo here, but I hope you get the jist). Stuck it right back on, but as I was trying to bang it into place with my fist, hoping I'd just secure it with some PVC glue later, the other end snapped. As shown in the images, that left me with zero drain pipe coverage for both sides of the sink, as well as my washing machine. They're 2 inch PVC according to the markings. I tried loosening the nut shaped things with channel locking pliers- got a good grip on them, but they're glued with something purple, and I couldn't turn them. Went just hard enough on them to not damage them beyond being able to get them with the right tool. So what's the play here? Not necessarily looking for the cheapest thing, just what I'll be able to do myself. Landlords have been incredibly negligent on repairs, such that diy appears to be the best option. Hello all. As most of us know, there have been a number of Outer Wilds ships designed, made, proposed, or copied in Lego or knockoff Lego.
In particular, there were two Lego Ideas campaigns which both reached 10k supporters but were not chosen to become official Lego sets. Of the dozen or so OW Lego ships I've seen posted, these two are easily the best and/or the basis for other peoples' variations:
- 2021-08-06 by SuperSirLink (SuperSirLink)
- 2023-12-22 by Minibrick Productions (minibrickproductions)
- 2021-08-01 BrickLink Post – SuperSirLink uploads their design, but it's currently (2025-01-24) in "display only" mode.
- 2023-06-07 BrickLink Comment: SuperSirLink posts a Brickshelf link to the IO parts file (740 parts).
- 2022-12-13 Bricklink Post – user "sundy" uploads the SuperSirLink design IO parts file (740 parts) to BrickLink, enabling "easy buy" and download IO file features.
- 2023-02-16 Reddit Post – Demure_Demonic_Neko adapts the SuperSirLink design and makes IO parts lists + instructions. "I just optimized some parts & touched up the interiors as well as looking at the real ship in game to color things differently" The drive link contains multiple IO files; I'm not sure which is the best/final one.
- 2023-04-02 Reddit Post – Lost_in_mind_space posts their build of the SuperSirLink design. (It's not stated which file/instructions they used.)
- 2023-06-22 Rebrickable Post user kermith72 uploads a variant of the SuperSirLink build including instructions (753 parts). "I modified the feet of the ship, which were not stable enough for my taste." Rebrickable includes parts buying features.
- 2024-11-24 Reddit Post RogueAssasain builds this variant
- 2024-02-17 Reddit Post – NoahDBest uploads their own instructions for the IO file originally uploaded by SuperSirLink. In particular, this comment is a great getting-started guide.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there are any parts lists or instructions for the Minibrick Productions submission. One can hope that maybe they can be persuaded to at least post an IO file, and then the community can write instructions.
In the meantime, I'm going to dive into these SuperSirLink variations and choose one to custommize / order / build.

2025.01.24 05:56 Accurate-Raspberry40 That is the most fun I've had that I never want to do again
Never thought I'd be making a post about how I enjoyed bashing my head into a wall for hours but finally finished the 5 win-streak. The first win streak event was a piece of cake, had the luck of the cards, got a quick concede on my last needed win, took probably 15 battles. This one was the exact opposite, y'all motherfuckers are cutthroat, the first 30 battles went 2 wins one loss over and over and over again. Then I broke through that plateau and did another 30 battles of getting to 4 wins and then losing the final one to bad hands, bad luck in coin tosses (starting coins, breaking sleep, the occasional zapdos, moltres, or misty for whichever deck I thought could bring me success - fuck Celebi), or just weirdly amazing luck for my opponents like the game didn't want me to have my stupid pixels. An example was I got 4 wins then lost to a lvl 10 with a grass/fighting deck cause the only card I could pull over the first four turns was a Blitzle/Zebstrika. That's not to mention a large majority of the people I played against already had their 5 wins and went to it like I had spit on their mother.
Finally though after a couple hours of grinding tonight, I got my five wins with some top notch games. I really felt like I learned the match ups well, toyed around with my decks to find a good balance that could match most of the meta decks I was seeing and had some moments where I truly felt like I outplayed the others and it wasn't just luck. All of this to say, thank you guys for giving me a run for my money, that was infuriating but god damn the dopamine I felt when I finally finished this was awesome. I will be turning off the game again telling myself I will never do this again ... until the new packs come out then I'll probably rope myself into doing it all over again.

I am a portland resident who has stalked DnD for years via podcasts, video play, and more recently BG3. I have been playing in a drop-in game Discord game Tuesdays if it isn't full. I joined a homebrew campaign towards the end of last year that really gave me the opportunity to do the work: Building a backstory that affects personal motivations, having weaknesses that tie in to the backstory and general personality, having a role to play in a team and sticking to it. Things were going really great until the unthinkable (actually totally understandable) thing happened: A change in the DM's life is causing him to have to scrap the campaign to focus on real-world life. I completely respect this choice. I am, however, now left with a vacancy of gaming. If there are any groups looking to add a player, or campaigns in their early stages, I would love the opportunity to be considered. Thanks for reading.
