2025.01.24 11:34 gorgeuz Did they astral travel to me?
I was going to sleep one night and I went into this (lucid?) dreaming state, where I felt like I was half conscious half asleep. Suddenly, as I’m laying on my back there I move my hand up to the side a little bit and I could feel his face. I didn’t know he was there, so I was a bit surprised. But it felt SO REAL. Like in that state of consciousness I couldn’t tell if he was actually there in the 3D next to me and I touched him or whether it was a dream. It felt so physically real and I’ve never experienced anything like that feeling so real. At that moment I was kind of worrying about something and then when I realized that he was there, he started talking to me a little bit and reassuring me telling me that it’s ok, I think. And then after a while I felt better and comfortable again.
I didn’t have any intention that this would happen, so I think it was his intention. I’ve felt his presence in that similar dream-state before too, but I haven’t been able to feel him so physically. I accidentally hit my hand on his face and then realized he was there. Also I’m sure it was my tf. I could feel and just had this knowing that it was him.

Hi everyone, I am looking at buying a Lumix S9 for 50/50 split point and shoot photography (casual, non pro) and streaming on twitch (I intend to stream upwards of 6-12 hours on some days).
I genuinely cannot wrap my head around how the Elgato Cam link works, and if it bypasses all the "heavy lifting" (so to speak) of the camera recording, so as to avoid the apparent overheating issue of this camera.
can someone ELI5 it for me? is this possible?
