Context: I realised as a teenager that I was avoidant. I didn’t know what the name for it was, but I recognised the pattern very early on. Now I would say I have a disorganised attachment style..I think it became disorganised because I started allowing myself to be vulnerable more but with vulnerability, the fear of intimacy, abandonment, etc. become exposed.
Problem: I’m talking to somebody who I’m romantically interested in. And he’s doing a lot of the things I’ve wanted in a partner. I’ve never felt so calm in a talking stage before, but the reoccurring problem of post-initial excitement boredom is now creeping in. I told my best friend about this and she told me to pray and seek God about why I feel bored with safety (we’re Christian). This took me by surprise and had me thinking…I don’t want to push somebody I like away by self-sabotaging. Because what I might be ‘comfortable’ with, is not healthy.
I really want to fix this. More practical tips can help. I’ve been doing research but I’d love to know what real life application steps I can take. Thank you.

 | F24, diagnosed with sebherroic dermatitis. I wash my hair every two/three days with ZPTO based shampoos like Scalpe Plus. I don't conditioner because then I have to wash my hair daily because of the crazy flaking. This is even if I apply to roots. I don't know if it's because I live in area with humidity 80%. Anyways even if I don't conditioner I need to oil the roots to comb else it's too rough to comb. I have zero tolerance to pain. But then that leads to washing hair every alternative day because of crazy flaking. Since I have wfh. I just comb my hair the next day of washing, till then everything is dumped into an amboda. But it's sooo humid here that my scalp starts smelling after a day of washing!!! I dry my hair right after because leaving hair wet makes it smelly and again my scalp flakes like crazy. I'm not liking how my hair is turning out. Anything I apply I have to think twice because oil and conditioner just makes my scalpe flake like crazy. But if I don't even apply oil my hair is too rough. Also my skin around the nose and behind the ears keep itching and flaking whenever I use oil. All this washing is making my hair fall like crazyy. I started watching YT videos and people seem to have different haircare for different hair types. I can't figure out what is mine. I have somewhat straight hair till my shoulder then it starts getting wavy. Please help me with my hair care routine. 2025.01.24 06:52 The-psychick Rant: Tax on perquisite imposed on employees.
Basically taxes on perquisites are paid by employers, In a judgement supreme court told that the concessional loan s and benefits provided to bank employees by their employer, the banks are taxable.
So, after the judgement the banks are deducting the tax FY 2024-25 from the employees itself. Almost every employee has atleast a vehicle and homeloan and the taxes are to be collected in remaining three months therefore there are several employees who are going to get salary in negative this month and the Feb and Mar too and they have to pay 20-30k every month afterwards.
So employees are being forced to pay for the taxes which is supposed to be paid by employers. Almost every institutions and organisations (government/Public and Private) have some perks and benefits provided by their employers then why only Public sector banks are being asked to pay tax for the benefits which is the very right of employees just like any other organisation.
In last 2-3 years the bank employees are facing immense pressure and given impossible targets. Keeping SBI lunch jokes aside (PSBs officially don't have lunch time but have manage within) the bank employees are working really hard lately, they are being sent for recovery even on sundays (not officially but are pressurized), given unreal targets, are forced to sit for long 10- 12 hours everyday. The workplace has become toxic thanks the immense work pressure and shortage of staff, now these additional taxes will further worsen the conditions for bank employees which will directly impact the services provided by them to the customer.

My best and oldest friend called me at 1am sobbing after getting into a fight with her boyfriend. She had seen a TikTok of young children afraid of being separated from their parents amid Trump’s latest mass deportation scheme. She turned to her boyfriend looking for empathy and he showed her the opposite. He told her that it was the child’s fault because they are illegal. She called me after hitting a breaking point, questioning how the person she thought she loved could have no empathy for human beings, children at that. We talked about how scary this world is becoming, the kinds of crazy things people believe, the terrible ways people behave. And then she began to tell us more about the relationship she was in. He is the kind of guy who likes to say shit to piss you off. He is a trump supporter, thinks every Mexican in America is illegal, supports the abortion ban, and “doesn’t believe” in trans people (I am a trans man). My best friend is very liberal. Her and I met in daycare and grew up together until she moved. Then we ended up going to the same Arts high school and found each other again. At that high school we were surrounded by a lot of amazing diversity, which I am so grateful for to this day. It’s where I met my boyfriend. We went to school with gay kids, trans kids, black kids, Spanish kids who were still learning English, and everyone in between. Because of that all of us were taught acceptance and tolerance at a pivotal age, I was even able to figure out my gender identity earlier than most. We have stayed friends since freshman year (going on 8 years now). She has been friends with me through my entire transition, supporting me through it all since that day I first changed my name. We hadn’t checked in for a while, I knew she was dating a new guy but I didn’t know it was going this badly, until she called me. She told me a lot of fucked up things about this guy but basically over the course of their 6 month relationship he has pushed her down her front steps into the ground, pushed her to the ground by her head and spit on her (on a separate occasion), lied to her for weeks before Election Day saying he wasn’t going to vote at all (she later found out he voted for Trump), is blatantly disrespectful to her trans friends and trans people in general purposely trying to misgender them, and thinks it’s funny to say he’s going to rape his girlfriend. Once I heard all of this my boyfriend and I ubered to her house at 2am, I was and still am so fucking appalled by all of this. She has past sexual trauma, and he knows this, that’s why he makes “the jokes”. It’s never in text so she doesn’t have screenshots, he only ever said it to her face. She said he does it all the time and she always yells at him saying it’s not funny, but he just laughs it off saying it’s a joke. I can’t put into words the amount of rage it fills me with writing that, knowing that some privileged white boy said such malicious things to her. My boyfriend and I were able to help her end things with him and he proceeded to call her phone over 100 times that night. He called nonstop, even using *67 after she blocked his number. We ended up having to turn her phone off. My boyfriend and I stayed up all night making sure the freak wasn’t crazy enough to break in. She cut contact all while we were at her house and into the next day. After that she listened to a voicemail he left saying he “just wanted to come by and get his stuff”. She messaged him saying no asking if it could be in a few days once she has collected all of his things and her thoughts. He of course insisted and came over anyway. (I didn’t know any of this until after or I would’ve tried to be there). She started crying because she didn’t even want to see him and he came into her space. He said a bunch of shit just to try to hurt her and manipulate her while grabbing his stuff. He even tried to take her pillow pet that she’s had forever just to be a dick. Oh and cherry on top now that she has broken up with him he thinks he has even more of a right to make rape threat “jokes” so he did that again as well. Oh and apparently after all of this he is trying to push her to “stay friends”. Something she expressed she does not want to do but doesn’t know how to handle telling him.
I am doing everything I can to be there for my friend right now. I love her so much and it genuinely kills me that any person could treat her this way or speak to her in this manner. Let alone someone she loved. I want to rip this man apart and I’ve never even met him, I mean I haven’t been this angry at a person in years. I need advice on how I can best stay calm and be a good friend to her. What can I do to help her heal from this, to help her become the confident shining person she has always been again? I feel like I need to start going to the gym again just because I need to take this emotion out somewhere so I can’t imagine how she is feeling. I hate him with every bone in my body but I need to know how I can best there for my friend and not just hate this man. I’m open to any advice or ideas, thanks for reading ♥️
