Does anyone have any tips on cleaning trinitite? Annoyingly, some blu-tack (mineral tac, plastictac, whatever it's called in different countries) has gotten stuck in some of the crevices in one of my pieces. I've picked it out as best I can (using a microscope and tweezers), I was wondering if using a solvent such as turpentine/white spirit may damage the piece? I can't think of what on the piece could be damaged, but if I anyone has any tips from their own experience, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Some of you maybe never did, but when did the rest of you all finally drift away from regular use of cassettes? Most of the 90s was college, marriage, and grad school for me, and though I had stopped buying music on tape around 1990, I would still dub CDs to tapes for our many long car trips between the Midwest and East Coast. This may have lasted until 2001 or so when I got a portable CD player that could play through a tape deck. That’s also when I started owning computers that could rip CDs, but my first in-car CD player still wasn’t until the mid-2000s.

2025.01.24 11:20 secretrootbeer From HyPERcalcemic to HyPOcalcemic??? Plus low magnesium
- Name: Jayne (he's a boy, we're Firefly fans lol) - Species: Cat - Age: 11 years - Sex/Neuter status: Male, neutered - Breed:American Shorthair - Body weight: approx 4.6 kg - History: hypercalcemia Dx Feb 2021 (successfully managed with Alendronate) - June 2024 (taken off Alendronate and monitored with bloodwork at approx 3 month intervals) - Current clinical signs: hypocalcemia and low magnesium - Duration: approx one month (began late December) - General location: Denmark - Current diet/food
INFO: He's started intermittently chugging water until he projectile vomits it all back up; it's a startling amount. No food in the vomit, just water. Now five times since approx Dec 23, 2024.
EVERY other aspect of his life is completely normal. Great energy, eating normally, very chatty, super playful, appropriate litter box usage, no signs of pain or discomfort even when I or the vet put pressure on his abdomen. He's his normal, happy self until suddenly he upchucks a scary amount of water.
We initially thought it was a hairball issue and started him on a regular dose of those meds (the goopy OTC kind), but it kept happening and has increased in frequency and no hairball has ever come up. So obviously we went in for bloodwork, which showed the low calcium and magnesium (I don't have access to the reports yet).
Denmark's tap water has A LOT of calcium so we've been giving Jayne filtered water (think Brita pitcher) because of his previous hypercalcemia and started him on tap water immediately (per our vet). And we're open to switching his food (he's been on his current one because of the low-ish calcium percentage which obviously no longer applies).
Our vet is also a little stumped here currently (she's wonderful but we are in a very small town rural area so she's not seen this before) so here I am hoping for some direction on possible causes, treatments, etc.

Hello everyone; I REALLY need help on this one.
So, the thing is that I’ve met this girl and I really like her. I talked to her a bunch of times and when the time came I finally asked for her number and asked her out (at the same time) she was excited and she didn’t hesitate to give me her phone number. We started texting and after a day she asked about the “date”; she told me that we needed to set a day and time. So we did it; we went out for dinner and she was “exited” to see me (she texted me that) the night was great, we also went for a walk and we had a great time. So; we went out a second time (completely unplanned) but it was for lunch after seeing her on an activity and she was super nice and seemed to be really interested in me.
I left on a trip and she out of nowhere texted me that she didn’t feel a “connection” with me and that she didn’t like me for anything else than for a friendship. She seemed to be really interested in me, she was happy when I asked her out and all that but after 2 dates in 2 weeks she tells me that there’s no connection between us. Like; she doesn’t even know me yet. I believe that she probably does like me BUT she found someone else who she likes more than me. But I don’t know; what do you guys think?
I’m normally a dude who doesn’t really feel attracted to a lot of girls because it takes more than a pretty face for me to like a woman and I do like this one so that’s why it kinda sucks. I just answered back with a little joke and told her that I was interested on her but that I also understood everything, she replied back and that was it. I like her but I also respect her decision and I won’t be chasing after her.
What do you guys thing really happened there? Is it possible to know if you have a “connection” with someone after 2 dates? The dates went good; a big talk and we got to know each other a lot.

2025.01.24 11:20 EnigmaZift Hider/Runner Archetype Suggestion
So there's a Default suspect archetype and an 'Active Shooter' who looks for Civilians to shoot. Well I have an idea for an interesting archetype who heavily prefers self-preservation instead of anything else.
I call him the "HideRunner" -- if he hears noise, instead of getting ready to attack, he will hide in all the typical hiding spots like closets, beds, etc. that you don't typically see Suspects use.
Then, once the SWAT presence reduces (i.e. the noise goes away) - he'll get out of his hiding spot and run towards the Exit.
If he reaches the Exit, he leaves the map. This could potentially result in Failing the objective.
Alternatively, he could simply run away and try to get a flank on the team. Either way, I think this archetype would be very interesting on some maps.
