Use Case: Chat Application Actors: Chat User, Server
Technology Recommendation: Real-time communication with Node.js (with Socket.io) and the frontend (with React/Vue)
Basic Flow:

  1. The user interface should contain the following components:
User login/logout option
List of available users to chat with
Active chat will be a new route
Text input area for writing and sending messages
  1. A user logs into the chat application ideally with a [POST] login endpoint.
  2. Once logged in, the user sees a list of available users to chat with.
  3. The user selects another user to start a conversation. This should route the user to the /chat/(id) page for conversation.
  4. The user types a message in the text input area and sends it. This can be implemented through a [POST] /message endpoint.
  5. The server handles the message sending and broadcasts the message to the intended recipient.
  6. The recipient receives the message in real-time and it is displayed in their active chat area.
High-level guidelines:
Setting Up a WebSocket Server: Use Node.js and WebSocket for real-time bidirectional communication.
User Authentication: Implement user authentication for the login process. This could be basic user auth with set creds, stored in the do with bcrypt (Good to have: Implement JWT)
Define a JSON structure: Consider the data to be displayed in the user interface and define a JSON structure accordingly. This could include fields such as sender, recipient, message content, timestamp, etc. Setup a database: Use PostgreSQL and Knex.js for storing chat history and user information.
Create a basic ERD: This should capture the user and message entities at least.
Setup the frontend: in React, use client-side rendering and manage the application's state.

I'm tired of repeating everything to everyone ive talked to all my friends but i still feel so alone.
My gf moved in with me too soon and things havent been working out with just the way she talked to me not so nicely and criticized a lot. Like i did one thing right but there were two other things i did wrong or i just straight up didnt do something eight. I just got myself in a bad situation and I have to wait a month for her to move out and find a place. Illinois law gives her legally 30 days
Her and I went iut to go hang with friends. I stayed out til 4 am and when i got back home she still wasnt home and still isnt and it's 7:00am as im typing this right now
I got myself into a messy situation where i just feel like i did everything wrong and wasnt able to give her what she wants even though I genuinely have tried my hardest. She's broken ul with me 3 times in the past and i have with her once but yesterday I had to make the final decision and it hasn't been a day and I'm a fucking mess. I don't want to annoy my friends by talking about this all the time with them so im making this post
I feel so alone and im so fucking hurt. I genuinely tried my hardest and i still have feelings for her. It really hurts that I can't check up on her anymore since she stopped sharing her location with me.
I don't know how i'll be okay, I'm so so hurt and talking about it is good but it doesnt feel enough. I feel relieved it's over but my heart is still very heavy. I'm so sad rn.

Wir haben seit noch nicht allzu langer Zeit (Anfang Dezember) einen Ă€lteren Hund aus dem Tierschutz. Sie ist wirklich sehr umgĂ€nglich und pflegeleicht und hat Freude daran, Kommandos zu erlernen und tut dies auch schnell. Das einzige, was wir wirklich bisher nicht verbessern konnten ist, dass sie uns ĂŒberall auf Schritt und Tritt hin verfolgt. Sobald wir aufstehen, steht auch sie auf. Sie hat zwei fest zugewiesene PlĂ€tze im Wohnzimmer und Arbeitszimmer und wenn wir sie dort hin zurĂŒckschicken, bleibt sie dort in der Regel auch (mal lĂ€nger, mal kĂŒrzer). Wenn sie komplett alleine ist, kann sie jedoch besser entspannen, wir haben uns fĂŒr sie zwei Kameras angeschafft und sie liegt dann entspannt im Körbchen. Habt ihr Trainingstipps, wie sie weniger alarmiert wird, wenn wir uns innerhalb der Wohnung bewegen? Ich habe bereits versucht, aufzustehen und sobald ich merke, dass die mir folgt sie zurĂŒck zu schicken und mich wieder dort hinzusetzen.

I run a Content Marketing Agency with most of our clients in the B2B SaaS and services industries (Like supply chain, Regtech, Freight Tech and many others).
We want to build automated workflows and integrations within content marketing and need to partner with AI Automation Specialists who may have had experience in marketing, copywriting, content research, or SEO in another life.
Some examples of the types of things we want to build:
Workflow: Take an interview from otter.ai (transcript or straight from voice), look for markers that will help package the interview into a strategy document that curates the interview into 10 Ps of positioning, write the strategy into google doc (or specific nicely designed framework of some kind)
Tool: We want to build a tool that knows everything about our client and then you give it a website or a prospect and based on what it knows about our client's capabilities, it reads the prospects website and then matches the prospects goals/plans/problems to the clients capabilities and then creates a table for a proposal.
Chatbot: A chatbot (not sure where it can be deployed yet) that can help a shippefreight/logistics worker to know what is the correct incoterm to use based on the seller and buyer agreements and another one that helps a shipper to determine what is the correct HS Code for a product that you're shipping.
SEO Workflow: 1. Ahrefs keyword analysis ->create SEO content Brief based on analysis -> write SEO optimized blog google docs -> [Stop here to add human authenticity to article] -> agent to upload with correct H1/H2/H3 etc headlines to website backend.
Writing Aid: Knows everything about a company/thought leader -> scrapes or reads news articles from a set or particular niche industry websites -> based on what it knows about company/thought leader writes short interesting snippets of company or thought leader's opinion about the news. deployed into excel spreadsheet for checking. Excel/Sheet should be able to hold multiple clients in one sheet maybe on each tab. automatically runs/fetches to write every 3 days with a capped number of 3 "thoughts or musings per client."
Competitor Analysis Tool: Our clients are always needing to watch for complaints around their competitor SaaSs and we end up having to manually look at platforms like G2 to find those so we can position our clients as a solution that doesn't have that problem. So the tool would be to follow a particular SaaS's subreddit or it's profile on G2 (although I think G2 blocks calls) pull everything into sheet and then do a sentiment analysis to mark them as a complaint or a fault and even go beyond to see how common that fault might be based on comments etc. This allows us to automate competitor analysis for our clients.

Why is this considered lethal? I saw this post on a screwfix page where someone was asking if he could find these transformers anywhere. I noticed however, that a lot of people were commenting on the exposed red and black wiring. One comment had "LETHAL" in all caps and it continued to say "get a real electrician". My question is why is it lethal? If all these cables are hidden in the ceiling, like how cables are hidden behind switches and sockets (and they have there wires exposed) what's the problem with having the red and black wiring showing outside the transformer if the cables are far away up in a ceiling where not a single soul will ever touch them?
