I’m very very discourage with doing the LPN program and I have a chance to opt out of the anatomy course, and I spoke to one of the clinical director, and told me that I can opt out of anatomy course but would have to take a medical terminology course or exam. And the director told me he doesn’t know who does it I would have to talk to advisment which I did and all they did was give me a phone number to financial aid having to do with the course. Like what does that have to do with opting out of the course or who I can speak to take the medical terminology exam. Like they were not helpful at all I don’t know what to do.

Hi there, I have recently gained space to continue playing after 10 years on then 10 years off. Renovating a house at the moment means I'm going minimum budget for decent sound. I've picked up a Performance Percussion kit for £10 and have spent money on batter and reso heads for everything. I have now had the opportunity to get an alternative bass drum, both 20 inch, both in fair condition however this one is Linko branded.
I know both Performance Percussion and Linko are budget kits, but I was wondering how people feel on the comparison. I will try both, however I'm interested in people's experience with longevity and opinions on the brands. Thank you for your time.

i made it 10 days without drinking but got some upsetting news and drank a lot wednesday night and then all day long yesterday starting at 7am when i woke up. hurting today and worried about withdrawals and tapering? or if i can just cold turkey again. i do have gabapentin but mixed it with alcohol yesterday which probably made everything worse! ugh, this again :(

I want to call a branch. Not a contact centre. Why does this bank make simple transactions like this SO onerous? Of course you call wait times are absurd, you’ve bottlenecked the entire contact service.
Simple things like a change of address? Go through 18 steps before you realize it’s impossible. Want an appointment at a branch? You’d have better luck in a hospital waiting room with a sore muscle.

Just graduated from university with a degree in computer science and I have been living with my parents and working part time in retail until I can get a “real” job, but called me a spoiled first world middle class brat but I could do this forever. I have absolutely no interest in pursuing a career, or any materialistic things, I could be content in a walkable city doing this or something else with my hands part time and reading, living with Roommates, hanging with friends, and pursuing inexpensive hobbies on my off time. In the first world it just seems like the economy is a financialized and digitized ouroboros that produces nothing of real value. It only exists to scam and exploit. When I walk into a Walmart or a Costco everything we sell seems so,, redundant and wasteful. All that labor just to produce the same products with different labels. And the stuff we sell isn’t even made here! It’s made half way across the world! How is it fair that a blue collar tradesperson, who is the only group of people that does anything of real value here, breaks their body working 6-6 5 days a week and some dork with a degree can do a 9-5 and make so much more? Any “real” job feels like I’m contributing nothing at best and scamming at worst. Why would I want a career in that? I feel like I just bought my degree, I didn’t earn shit. People tell me I’m smart but if I wasn’t born in the class I was I would have had no chance in getting that degree. It’s not a real accomplishment, enough to save me a life of “blue collar” hell, it just feels like it’s something my family bought for me. Totally unfair that I can live this life. Just wanted to rant a bit.

 | I have a 2-year-old female Siberian, Miss Murphy, and I’ve been thinking about getting her a friend. She’s super playful and could use a buddy! The dilemma: I’d prefer another female, but I’ve read that two females might not get along. On the other hand, I’ve had bad experiences with male cats in the past—family cats that sprayed or peed in random places (and one pooped in my bed… twice). Murphy doesn’t seem territorial. When we visit my family, she loves their female cat (even though that cat just tolerates her). I wonder if this is because Murphy was entering another cat’s home opposed to a cat entering our space? Has anyone had success introducing a second female Siberian? Or is a male the better choice? If so, help me reconsider my opinion on boy cats! TLDR: I have a female Siberian and want a second cat.
