I thought I'd ask this question here as I have been eyeing a few stereo receivers from the 70s. Currently making an audio setup to listen to records, my current TT is a Technics SL-1700 MK1, and a pair of PSB Alpha B1 Speakers.
The receivers I have been eyeing are a Pioneer SX-636 (25W into 8ohm, $350 CAD) or a Sansui 5050 (30W into 8ohm, $300 CAD), as I love the looks and the backlighting. However, my problem is whether or not these would run into issues running a pair of PSB Alpha B1 Speakers. I don't want to blow out the receiver nor the speakers, nor run them below its rated impedance. My pair of PSBs specs based the product page for the PSB is 8 ohms Nominal and 4ohm for Minimal. However it gets conflicting when the manual and other sites state it at 6ohms and 4ohm min. Totally new to this and likely overthinking this, thus I am requesting some input.

Got the A for Fordham Part Time today (congrats to all the others acceptances). I am wondering if any current part-time students in the law program at Fordham have any insights.
I am really on the fence about attending. I got into my dream school, but it is a full time program, and I have a full time job I really want to keep (it’s remote). I do think with the nature of my work I would have enough time during the day to do both— work full time and full time law school. I will have hours during the day to study, and worked out the schedule and I would be able to work 8 hours while taking 1L classes from 7am-7pm. But the law program would need to allow that and so would my employer.
If one/both won’t allow that, then I would be left with Fordham. I hate NYC, want to pursue pubic interest, and don’t want to live in New York at all as a lawyer. Is that really a dealbreaker for Fordham? I have always been planning on pursuing loan forgiveness and work for a 501c3 (I know Fordham s repayment program doesn’t qualify gov’t work). In terms of Part-time programs, it is the best fit. But I would want to live somewhere else like North Carolina or California.
So my question is: would going to Fordham basically set me up to never leave New York? Sticker price aside, would being miserable for 4 years in NYC be worth the opportunities down the line? I have the perfect job to pursue a higher education with, so I want to take this time in my life when I have little to no responsibilities to better set myself up for more opportunities and study/work in law.

Power back with speed, scrambler qb with throw power, that’s all I ever see on here. I understand that those are the most effective/cheese archetypes, but don’t you guys like to challenge yourselves a little? Fast power backs aren’t even the best HBs out there, I’d take a receiving or elusive back with high change of direction over a power back in most cases. Building a RB room with each archetype is a more healthy approach and COD beats all from my experience, trucking people is fun but the cuts from a 90+ COD back get more yards. I understand the scrambling qbs more cause those are the most fun to play with but the deep and mid range rips from an improviser or field general can feel very rewarding. Not trying to hate just saying y’all should spice up your archetypes

Sorry, I don't know the actual episode name or what season or episode number it was, though it did say "all-new episode". DirecTV very kindly recorded it for me, and I finally watched it last night.
I really loved this family! The mom was great, so upbeat and sweet, and so were all four kids. They were excited to learn how to use tools and build things, and man, could they do the hula! The neighbor was also a standup guy, smart and helpful. Even though I'm not into hunting at all, I loved the "tree house" hunting blind that Matt built for the kids to use as an archery practice and possible chance at getting a wild pig. And the sheep tractor was genius.
Any comments on this episode? I expected to come here and see it being discussed....
