2025.01.24 19:43 Uncomfortably_Numb28 Garter snake darted out of vivarium onto floor, could she be hurt?

My vivariums are stacked in my reptile room so Lilith's vivarium sits at about 3 or 4 feet above the ground.
I was changing her water just now and didn't notice her hidden in the foliage by the water bowl so when I reached in, it spooked her and she darted out of the vivarium. I did somehow manage to catch her mid air with one hand but she wriggled so much I lost my grip (and didn't want to squeeze her too hard) and she fell onto the hardwood floor. I immediately picked her up and let her slither in my hands until she calmed down to make sure she was okay before putting her back in.
But now I'm really stressing because she's so small and I feel absolutely awful for not seeing her before I moved her water bowl and I'd never forgive myself if she got hurt because of me 😭

Current phone: Moto G73 (using since ~2 years). Got an iPhone 15 as a gift.
I have no complaints about my current phone apart from fast battery drain.
Would switching to iPhone be worth it? Or does it make more sense to stay on Android?

I'm fairly certain this fanfic has been deleted, but I'm hoping that someone else still remembers it so I can see if maybe the author moved to AO3.
It was an incomplete Hermione x Narcissa fic where Hermione goes back in time (not sure if it was an accident or not) and spends some time in the past with Narcissa, but I think Dumbledore erases Narcissa's memory to preserve the timeline. Back in the future, both Hermione and Narcissa are teaching at Hogwarts, and they slowly form a relationship. Eventually the memories do come back and they're engaged. Everyone is quite supportive of them, I think the latest chapters was everyone going to like a bachelorette party at a strip club.

I'm considering buying a new smart scale, I went through some reviews and I comes out that those two are the best: Eufy Smart Scale P2 Pro and Wyze Scale X. I know the Eufy P2 Pro excels in simplicity and the other one is better for detailed metrics and multi-user tracking, but I'm going to use it alone, still don't know which one to choose. So does anyone used one of these and can recommend it to me.

2025.01.24 19:43 Dimension26045 Dynasty stopped offering HC jobs, and FG kicking has changed

Did a recent update break anyone else's Dynasty (more than it already was)?
I just completed 6 seasons at USC as HC where I was NEVER offered a different HC job, despite winning 4 Conference Titles and a National Championship.
Every year I was offered 4 OC or DC jobs during Bowl Week 1, and in Bowl Week 2 I was offered 1 OC or DC job 3 times, while the other 3 seasons I received Zero offers of any kind during that week.
I've played a bunch of different Dynasty runs where I take new HC jobs every 5-6 years, but this latest Dynasty refuses to offer any other HC jobs.
The other thing is that FG kicking recently became way harder. It originally took a while to get good at kicking FG's, but I thought I had mastered it.
However, in this recent Dynasty my Kicking Meter has become absurdly fast and a shakey for all long FG's, no matter how good my kicker was. Finally tested it out by cranking the Kicking Accuracy Slider up to 100 and also cranked my Kicker's Awareness and Kick Accuracy to 99 and it didn't change anything.
Anyone else running into these issues?

Worst McDonalds In the Franchise Award
Coming back to school after a break of a few years. UVU has at least one new building, and new housing nearby, but some things never change.
Compiler Construction still the most failed course. The McDonalds across the road from UVU still the worst in the franchise. Parking still highly competitive The gross smell at the traffic light northeast of campus.
That said, I think it's a decent school, with some of the most competitive tuition rates in the state, and (a few) teachers that care if you succeed.
