I have got interest in birds recently have 7 parrots(3 irn parrot, 1 budgie, 1 cocktail, 2 love birds) like they create lots of mess and there shit smells to much bad sometimes it's unbearable like how you guys manage them. they spoil the food and throws the food every where and they poo every where literally every where they even don't spare by bed😫. Some time they tear my paper or books when i am not around is there any alternatives to overcome this like to train them to poo or teach them to not waste food like that my final exam is coming the amount of time i spend on them is too much. so what you guys to do please suggest your opinion My entire family is against my hobby 😭 i have no hope from them. I can't keep them out side due to cats also its hot out side and i can't keep my window open every time they will fly away. Even if i keep them in cage there also i should clean the cage every day they will not cooperate with if they will blast my ears. 🙏 Please suggest your recommendation

2025.01.26 07:52 cellatlas010 how to search for a new postdoc position while maintaining the face with my old PI?
I'm trying to leave my current postdoc advisor because he has really low EQ and really enjoy manipulating people. To maintain my visa status, I must maintain a passable relationship with my PI and claim I will stay in the lab for another several years cuz my PI really anticipate that we can stay in the lab and be his compliant cheap slaves. and after reading a lot of re-application cases, I think the optimal way for finding a new job is not to break down the relationship with my current PI and pretend everything is ok with my old lab and i just switched my interests.
I'm worried if the new PI would try to contact my old PI when he sees my application? Is contacting old PIs a routine or new PIs routinely know the applicants' secret sorrow. I don't want my old PI know I'm "defecting" because i'm not 100% sure if i can get a new job. (btw, all our lab rotations either left in the meantime or decided not to stay in the end).
I have heard a lot of times that PIs, especially young PIs, are in general far from being nice and i should bear with it. I have been doing so, and will probably continue bearing him for quite a while. i just want to make a change.
I don’t really understand some of the unwritten rules about switching labs as a postdoc. Really appreciate your help. Sorry for being emotional.

Hi guys, a few threads were there saying Kareena might've attacked Saif and now the fingerprints on scene doesn't match attackers fingerprints too. Additionally, Saif was taken to hospital 2 hours post the attack.
Here's my take on this situation - There was no attack, Saif was not stabbed, there was no blood, everything is a hoax. Everything was done to buy time on Pataudi Palace case or maybe to cover another news which was controversial and gaining attraction.
My take - The guy in CCTV was paid, it was a planned situation where the guy came and mess up the rooms and no one was supposed to interrupt but a caretaker saw and shouted, Saif calmed the situation down and the guy did his deed and left, that's why no blood on the accused in the CCTV is seen nor anywhere blood stains or photos went viral.
Someone took Saif to hospital for minor injuries (else one person wouldn't be able to manage such a heavy grown man 2hours after attack when most blood is lost cause of 6 CUTS 1 TO THE SPINE, THE MAN WOULD'VE LOST CONCIOUSNESS) So, someone took him to hospital and the news started going viral, Saif paid docs for reports and updates (No one could be this chill and recover so quick after an attack like this).
Ik it's far fetched but you can add onto this or just laugh at me or abuse me or yaa whatever

After a year of struggling I feel lost and without hope.
Last year I started this new journey of living abroad to fulfill a dream of becoming an archaeologist, living somehow ln my own but everything is getting harder and harder.
I lost my job, and just have a few gigs where I can barely pay stuff and everytime I try to get a job, or try to get a well paid freelance... The answer is always no. I have a folder in my email with rejections, which is making harder to be positive.
I tried praying, I tried finding help, I tried go to chapel for the blessed sacrament, going to mass, asking guidance from god or Jesus but nothing... I'm desperate after one year and at this point I just feel is useless.
My family tells me to keep on praying, to never lose hope, even my girlfriend who prays rosaries for me... But with all due respect, I just feel like abandoned by god, and feel like I wasted time with my first B.A in design and I'm afraid someone could judge me for being this low maybe an say I'm being a crybaby or just complaining... But I do feel desperate at this moment because I feel like is useless to believe anymore...
I really feel I wasted time trying to use my gifts and my skills I think god gave me to be happy and fulfill something he wants from me for the salvation of my brothers and sisters in Christ... But at this point, my debts, my unemployment, my poor mental health and other stuff makes me feel everything I try is useless...
I don't know if I need people praying for me, or just to give up, or keep praying... And I'm afraid this post will be taken down.
Any help will be appreciated...
